NaPoWriMo - 2017 - 27. April 27 : Perhaps

Prompt : Possibilities and Perhaps
Write a poem of perhaps. Your poem might employ “perhaps” or “I prefer,” as in the poems below, as anaphora phrases, repeated to begin each line or stanza. Or perhaps you might simply make “Perhaps” or “Possibilities” your poem’s title and launch off anywhere from there. Or you might choose to use a totally different conditional phrase or a question to begin each line or stanza such as “If” or “Should I,” or “What if.”

Perhaps

Perhaps, Oh dear!
I shouldn't have been so rude
You would have been by my side
Sharing the essence of every touch

Perhaps, Oh dear!
I shouldn't have looked clumsy
You would have been charmed by me
Sharing the glow of that bloody blush

Perhaps, Oh dear!
I shouldn't have acted bold
You would have been brave for me
Sharing the smile of not being a fool

Perhaps... Poor me!!!
I shouldn't have loved much
You would have been with someone
Sharing the love of your life
without cavy jealous of me

A big thanks to Val for helping me by providing me the prompts. Thank you all for spending your precious time for reading, liking and reviewing my poetry. Undoubtedly all mistakes are mine and mine only.
