NaPoWriMo - 2017 - 2. April 2 : Lazy's Flirt Story

Prompt : Starting from adjectives and/or abstract nouns, write a series of tiny stanzas with an Asian feel that personify the named qualities. It’s fun and surprising. Rearrange the lines; try to make your poem tie together somehow. It might do so serendipitously.
I have been crazier than ever. Forgive me if I had turned you guys mad... Lol

Lazy's Flirt Story

Lazy never been late to school
Cold hit him hard, with a stool
Active took him to the campus nurse
Careless has to bind him, of course

Anger, the prin, called his mother in a hush
Danger strode, out of office, mush and rush
Worry was already there; with his son
Empathy, along with her brother, dodging and shun

Sympothy opened the door for her owner
Wonder, sat at their legs, is a retriever
Surprise phoned home to enquire and elate
Patient, the witness, explained how some flirt turned into a fight

A big thanks to Val for helping me by providing me the prompts. Thank you all for reading, reviewing, and supporting my poetry. Obviously all mistakes are mine. Even the craziness. If someone has suggestions to master it, I'd be glad to take them.

Wow, this is amazing, Emi! :)  I read the prompt for it, and all I thought was, "Huh???"

Your poem definitely showed me what the prompt meant. :D  I especially loved Wonder, the retriever. :)

Yeah, I was in same awe when I had read the prompt too. I tried it anyway. I don't know from where that thought came from!?  May be from the ramblings and fightings of my niece and nephews! I was laughing and acting weird the entire write, cause it felt so crazy writing those all names and trying to link them into a story. I had to add a pet, because there is lots of stuff is going on around for last two days about pets. And 'Retriver'  catches my attention. I am glad you enjoyed the poem. Amazing, is a great compliment. Thank you for the review/comment Lisa.

Quite a brawl for poor Lazy. You introduce your cast of characters simply and delightfully.

Actually the prompt is itself naming your characters with an adjective.  It has been tough to name a character like that and has to arrange a plot to understand the role of that character. It's not easy to naming this kinda names for a family of five, their maid and pet. And a friend of lead role as well as his boy/girlfriend and a principal. I am glad you enjoyed those characterization. And thanks for kind words.

This has been my favorite prompt so far.  I could write so many of them!  You wove yours together to tell a clear story.  Nice job :)

I can share the enthusiasm too. But I haven't tried to write another. I was wondering where this poem came from, but for me that is enough. But I might try in future. Thanks for the nice words on it. I appreciate it. :)
