NaPoWriMo - 2017 - 11. April 11 : Fullmoon Munchkins

Prompt : Buddhist Moon
April 11th is the full moon. Write a full moon poem with a Buddhist feel — an Asian clarity, simplicity, and depth.

Myth of an Old Lady

Old lady of myth
Teach, 'bout life, to her pupil
Standing under tree
A scene resided at sky
Fullmoon being it's platform

Heart of the Night

Through the strands of dried autumn tree
A golden circle blazed fully
Around the enlightening moon
And brightened the entire skyline
With it, the world where my heart lays

Fullmoon

As bright as it shine
Completing a whole circle
A Fullmoon appears

:thankyou: to Val for helping me by providing me the prompts. :thankyou: to all for reading, liking, and reviewing. All mistakes are surely mine.

First is a Tanka - one of my favorite forms :) - and you did will with it. I'd encourage to write more with them; let the form seep into your blood, so to speak.

The last is a Haiku, and it's a strong one. No lost in translation 'haiku speak' here ;) yay!
