NaPoWriMo - 2017 - 1. April 1 : Begin

Prompt : Let your first April poem be somehow about beginning...

Begin

Begin
A new era
An achievement attained
Both the happiness and tears flood
Fulfilled

Begin
A new journey
A rindle accomplished
Both the problems and tensions gone
Relieved

Begin
A new pursuit
A legacy appeased
Both the composure and peace set
Contained

Begin
A new aspect
With promises and love
Happy retirement and birthday
Pappa

A big thanks to Val for helping me by providing me the prompts. Thank you all for reading, reviewing, and supporting my poetry. Obviously all mistakes are mine.

I love the "beginnings" to each of your four stanzas. Everything feels like a fresh start. To me, that's what Springtime is all about, so it's fitting (at least from my perspective) for you to post this poem in April. I look forward to reading more of what you write for NaPoWriMo!

It's really nice. There's control of form here that really works in your favor, and like Mac, I also like the Begin refrain in each stanza. Happy Birthday to your father! This is a nice gift for him.

Emi, this is awesome! I ditto Mac and AC; I like the 'Begin' at the beginning of each stanza.

Happy B-day Mr. Emi! And Happy Retirement also! :)

I love the fresh beginnings as well. Actually I had wrote this for my father on his retirement and 60th birthday. And as you said it suits for all the beginnings. Beginning of new life for my father, beginning of my NaPoWriMo, and beginning of the spring season.

Thank you for the nice words Mac...

It's not just his birthday, it is also his retirement too. I wanted to write something for him and the 'Begin' prompt has been my saviour for the purpose. I am glad you liked it.

Thank you for the review Ben...

I really like the form of this also, especially the single word at the end of each stanza.  Nice beginning! And Happy Belated Birthday and Retirement to your pappa! :D
