Young, Gay and Scared

If you don't mind me saying so, I think you should slow down on posting chapters. Let readers dwell on what you've written so far, before they rush to the next installment. Even if GA rules do allow posting every 8 hours, weekly postings seem to be optimal for most writers.

Thanks for commenting. I'm surprised, I thought readers would get antsy about interrupted reading in the middle of a story. If GA would allow it I'd like to post the whole story at once. This has been a very contentious issue in GA in the past so your further comments would be appreciated.

Personal opinion, keep up the rate of publication, I look forward to each chapter. I have also bookmarked the story to read in its entirety later.  Thanks for writing.

Thanks for this story, Graham. It helped to bring my relationship with my own father into better context. He would've been in his early 20s when this attitude was so prevalent and I'm sure it impacted on the philosophy of both he and his brother/s. It kind of makes more sense now why he was like he was.

I've had several heart-wrenching comments from people who've had similar experiences to mine, but not one from, let's say, the other side of the coin. I've never had the guts to ask my own kids how they felt about me; too scared to know the truth. Just a moment of time . . .
