I'm so glad I don't come from "old money" or an old distinguished family that's listed in "Debretts".

The "Calico's" are the former  and probably the latter too (tbc!).

From what I've heard (read) them say in regards to Gabriel (our protagonist ) so far, having just finished the first chapter, would lead me to offer him one piece of advice.

Don't turn back, don't engage with the family! Don't show them any fear or they will eat you alive.

Get away before they try to break you, because its obvious they feel nothing for you & your just a nasty little inconvenience that they won't want to lose face over by having to explain your relationship to them & Albert.

You manage to combine technically flawless and imaginative writing without repeating genres and themes. I find this to be very rare in writers on gay sites who, no matter how well they write,  tend to return to similar themes after a while. I dip’s me lid to you.

My hubby and I are finally moving into our new house in the UK this month, so my priority is unpacking/getting settled/etc (and especially setting up my office). I have a number of ways Inherited can go at this pivotal point but need to have quiet writing time to move this plot forward and do the storyline justice. I am not officially putting the story on hold, but will not be able to meet my current one chapter per week/fortnight target and ask for you patience. My sincere apologies, but I promise the final product will be well worth the wait.

Well I've just finished reading the latest chapter & I am still loving this story its one of the best reads ive had in the last 12 months!

The water is still lovely!

The family are still vile!!

the plot develops in a natural well crafted and seamless fashion which is surprisingly difficult to do & it is done well!
