Lux's Indulgences - 22. Shamrock

Oh, to celebrate

Times that are good

Times that are bad

Time

We lead lives too short to not celebrate

The little blessings that we have

The things we cherish

The things we lose

May the years bring fortune

And prosperity to you

Or at the very least

A bittersweet beauty

That caresses your soul

Bittersweet is a good word for life. Eventually, we learn to appreciate each day... if we are lucky. Thanks, Lux.

I like this poem. It’s not entirely in a major key, but it’s relative minor passages enhance and enrich it. Thanks you very much for sharing this with us.
