Fellow Travellers 1. Craig & James

   (5 reviews)
Sub-genres: Drama, General Romance

Cinema engineer Craig is tired of life on the road; eating junk food, staying in bland hotels and never knowing if he’ll get home at night. He can’t see any way out until an unexpected turn of events and an encounter with a fellow traveller makes him realise there might be an alternative.

A wonderfully written story. You find yourself hoping Craig's life will improve but it's not looking good.

Mawgrim takes us on a road trip most of us rather not end up on. Craig has come to accept life as it is but fate isn't yet finished with him.

This piece definitely deserves a part two.

Response from the author:

Thank you. I've just started working on a part two, by popular demand!

What a lovely story! Pleasant, believable characters and a nicely ambiguous -- though mostly upbeat -- ending.

A really good realistic story in it's own right, at the time that I read it I know there is a follow-up which is as good as this one, so I say double your enjoyment and read both one after the other you will not regret it.

I read this a while ago and have returned.  It is well-worth the visit.  In the midst of an awful job - under-valued, over-stressed and, of course lousy pay - we watch a man as a bit of light, hope and future enters his life.

a great read.
