On a personal note, I just want to thank you again for your comments on the Settings topic in Writer's Corner. It was eye-opening and interesting. Max Cauler is terrific!  I think about your comments and the story often.

Are speeches done? Are they a thing?  Well I have a few things to share.

Frankly all of this is overwhelming.  Especially since it was supposed to be tomorrow.  Thanks to the Promo Team for seeing value in what i do. I appreciate your feedback. I'm ready to take it on and work hard.

Renee. Thanks for everything. You are seriously wonderful! 

A bit of background; I found GA because i wanted something Gay to read.  After months, I finally joined because I wanted to say thank you.  An author who is no longer here encouraged me to post my street poems.  

Terrifed, I joined, pasted that first poem and I remember sitting with my laptop on my knee with my finger on the enter key. I wondered if i was nuts. But I did it. 

While I've met many people here and each as affected and influenced me, there are two which i have to mention because without them, I don't think i'd be here. Maybe but they certainly helped me and continue to. I mention them in the order I met them. 

The first is Gary / Headstall. He read my poems, he told people to read them and he offered friendship and much support. He and all the 'regulars' on the CoTT Forum welcomed me with open arms. I'd never experienced that from strangers before. Thank you all! Each of you is dear to me.

The next was AC Benus. He read my poems. He offered to read and edit my work and he has. I have improved since my first stories were posted and AC is a huge part of that. He's a wonderful yet gentle teacher. He has become a good friend and mentor, who is very generous with his time, talent and knowledge. Thank you, AC from the bottom of my heart! xoxo

And to all of you who i count as friends .. thank you for your support of me and my work.
