Hello all!

I have just registered with this amazing site and would like to introduce myself.My name is Sue,I am a 40 year old straight professional lady staying in the Highlands of Scotland who just happens to have a keen interest in homo-eroticism!

By this,I mean that I enjoy dating bisexual/curious chaps(my now ex-fiance is bi and opened up the proverbial Pandora's Box for me!)and I hope to eventually settle down with the right one(!),I am turned on by watching gay pornography and..enjoy reading literature of the gay genre.My favourite book has to be 'The Swimming-Pool Library' written by Alan Hollinghurst.It is just so well written!

I would be interested to hear other members' suggestions of a good read.

First off let me say welcome to Gay Authors!

 

We do have a wide variety of stories for everyone's tastes, I highly recommend Working it Out by Don Hannerty. It's a bit graphic on the sexual details, but it's also a very well written story. Here's the link

I will add a suggestion if you want something a little edgier. dkstories has some excellent sci-fi/fantasy stories. They tend to have sexual overtones. C James specializes in adventure titles. What the hell. I'll plug in my own stories as well. There are sex scenes and plenty of action in Dark Earth: The Prophecy. :D

Welcome to this little slice of gay heaven...that is gay literature heaven.

If you are looking for good stories, and don't mind lack of sex or anything rather graphic, CJames, our very own goat, writes some great stuff, as the tiger says.

Warning for Tigers stuff, look forward to really long chapters. But a good plot.

BeaStKid (otherwise known as Beastie) has some good stories going on. Granted, nothing much in the way of sexual bits, but still good. You'd be surprised at what you'll find. ^_^

Welcome, Sue :) I think I can say that there are a lot of stories here to read. If you want to consider trying to write your own, have a look at the past anthologies for a great collection of short stories that just might inspire you to participate in a future anthology yourself!

 

Unfortunately, I don't write homo-erotic stories, but there are a lot of people who do :)

Seriously, folks, some people do find the term 'breeder' offensive at times. I'm one of them. I know when it's used as a joke, but there are a lot of people who don't realise it's intended to be a joke because they don't know the people involved in the conversation.

 

:D I feel I have a right to say something on this because I'm gay and a breeder :P

I do mean it as a joke. Anyway, when I first found that there are plenty of women who like to write and read gay stories, I was surprised. I have even asked why, and now I think I have a good understanding. It's the same reason that straight men like lesbians. :lol:
