VoyeurVamp Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Hello all! I have just registered with this amazing site and would like to introduce myself. My name is Sue,I am a 40 year old straight professional lady staying in the Highlands of Scotland who just happens to have a keen interest in homo-eroticism! By this,I mean that I enjoy dating bisexual/curious chaps(my now ex-fiance is bi and opened up the proverbial Pandora's Box for me!)and I hope to eventually settle down with the right one(!),I am turned on by watching gay pornography and..enjoy reading literature of the gay genre. My favourite book has to be 'The Swimming-Pool Library' written by Alan Hollinghurst. It is just so well written! I would be interested to hear other members' suggestions of a good read.

I would be interested to hear other members' suggestions of a good read. First off let me say welcome to Gay Authors! We do have a wide variety of stories for everyone's tastes, I highly recommend Working it Out by Don Hannerty. It's a bit graphic on the sexual details, but it's also a very well written story. Here's the link Hope you have a blast
Tiger Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Gabriel Morgan has some steamy stories. They should definitely be to your liking. Welcome to GA!
Phantom Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Gabriel Morgan has some steamy stories. They should definitely be to your liking. Welcome to GA! DOH! Forgot about him lol... yea they're good and rich in content
Rakuten06 Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Hi Sue! Glad to have a Scottish person here on GA, as you noticed, members here from around the world like Belgium, Sweden, Australia, anything!
AFriendlyFace Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Welcome to GA, Sue!! It's wonderful having you here There are alot of terrific authors around here who should fit the bill for what you're looking for! -Kevin
Cynical Romantic Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Hi Sue, Welcome! You may be surprised to see how many of us women there are around here, so I suspect you'll fit right in. My suggestions for good reads are too many to list, but you can't go wrong with anything written by DomLuka or Duncan Ryder.
Tiger Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I will add a suggestion if you want something a little edgier. dkstories has some excellent sci-fi/fantasy stories. They tend to have sexual overtones. C James specializes in adventure titles. What the hell. I'll plug in my own stories as well. There are sex scenes and plenty of action in Dark Earth: The Prophecy.
Krista Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Welcome to GA Sue! Living In Surreality by ShadowGod is a really good read that hasn't been mentioned yet. Have fun! Krista
S.L. Lewis Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Welcome to this little slice of gay heaven...that is gay literature heaven. If you are looking for good stories, and don't mind lack of sex or anything rather graphic, CJames, our very own goat, writes some great stuff, as the tiger says. Warning for Tigers stuff, look forward to really long chapters. But a good plot. BeaStKid (otherwise known as Beastie) has some good stories going on. Granted, nothing much in the way of sexual bits, but still good. You'd be surprised at what you'll find. Also...have to do the self pimpage.... I write several genres, ranging from romance to horror and nearly everything in between. Just check out my profile, link below in my sig.
Site Administrator Graeme Posted August 15, 2008 Site Administrator Posted August 15, 2008 Welcome, Sue I think I can say that there are a lot of stories here to read. If you want to consider trying to write your own, have a look at the past anthologies for a great collection of short stories that just might inspire you to participate in a future anthology yourself! Unfortunately, I don't write homo-erotic stories, but there are a lot of people who do
rknapp Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I think you'd be good to go just by clicking the Authors link at the top and having a ball. But what do I know, lol.
Benji Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I think you'd be good to go just by clicking the Authors link at the top and having a ball. But what do I know, lol. ................Welcome Sue, you're sure to find what you want here.
Jack Frost Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 You're not alone, Sue. We have Sharon here (sat8778 or something). She's a breeder here as well and my dear editor. She loves me. Welcome.
sat8997 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 She's not going to love you for very long if you continue to call her a 'breeder.'
Tiger Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 She's not going to love you for very long if you continue to call her a 'breeder.' I don't blame you, Sharon. It really isn't nice to call breeders breeders.
Benji Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I don't blame you, Sharon. It really isn't nice to call breeders breeders. ....well, well well
Site Administrator Graeme Posted August 17, 2008 Site Administrator Posted August 17, 2008 (edited) Seriously, folks, some people do find the term 'breeder' offensive at times. I'm one of them. I know when it's used as a joke, but there are a lot of people who don't realise it's intended to be a joke because they don't know the people involved in the conversation. I feel I have a right to say something on this because I'm gay and a breeder Edited August 17, 2008 by Graeme
Tiger Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I do mean it as a joke. Anyway, when I first found that there are plenty of women who like to write and read gay stories, I was surprised. I have even asked why, and now I think I have a good understanding. It's the same reason that straight men like lesbians.

This is a serious question.
Benji Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 What's hotter than a couple of cute/hot guys dancing nekkid? This is a serious question. ............Damn, it deserves a serious answer, but I agree with you totally!
Jack Frost Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 (edited) Ok, I could call Sharon something else... Childmaker. Better? And did I say some gays aren't a breeder either? Edited August 18, 2008 by Jack Frost
sat8997 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Ok, I could call Sharon something else... Queen of the Underworld works for me...
NaperVic Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Queen of the Underworld works for me... Have you expanded your empire? I thought you were Queen of the Darkside Welcome Sue! You might also enjoy Domluka's stories . He's always had a large following of breeders childbearers Straight Women.
Cynical Romantic Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Tsk tsk, what's with all the breeder comments? Jack and Vic, you're both probably more likely to reproduce than I am, if things go my way. *To population control* (And as for why there are so many of us here? Ever consider that maybe it's just that us women are saps for good stories? )
