Zolia Lily Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 random but true : Puff the magic dragon. Every. Single. Time. i hear it.
daffy106 Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 As an older guy into grand opera, this brings me to cry. Lascia ch'io pianga from Handel's opera "Rinaldo", in this case from a movie of the life of the singer Farinelli. Farinelli was one of the worlds greatest castrato sopranos, deliberately castrated at age 10 to preserve his voice. Sung in Italian against the castration scene, it reflects the sadness of the whole thing and yet also reflects the greatness he rose to as one of the great gay men in history. Translation: Let me weep Let me weep over my cruel fate, And that I long for freedom! And that I long, and that I long for freedom! Let me weep over my cruel fate, And that I long for freedom! Let me weep over my cruel fate, And that I long for freedom! And that I long, and that I long for freedom! Let me weep over my cruel fate, And that I long for freedom! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdaYXIuEebs&feature=related Daffy106 2

J_Ross Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I'm going to ride this plane out of your life again.I wish that I could stay but you argue.More than this I wish you could've seen my faceIn backseat staring out the window.I'll do anything for you,Kill anyone for you.So leave yourself intact'Cause I will be coming back.In a phrase to cut these lips,I love you.The morning will comeIn the press of every kissWith your head upon my chestWhere I will annoy youWith every waking breathUntil you decide to wake up.I've earned through hope and faithThe curves around your faceThat I'm the one you'll hold forever. If morning never comes for either one of us,Then this I pray to you wherever.I'll do anything for you. This story is for you.('Cause I'd do anything you want me to... for you.)I'll do anything for you,Kill anyone for you.So leave yourself intact'Cause I won't be coming back.In a phrase to cut these lips,I loved you.The morning will comeIn the press of every kissWith your head upon my chestWhere I will annoy youWith every waking breathUntil you decide to wake up.The morning will comeIn the press of every kissWith your head upon my chestWhere I will annoy youWith every waking breath'Til you decide to wake up. I lock the doorTurn on the waterBury that soundSo no one hears anything anymoreMirrors lie to me, tell me you can seeMaybe you won't be able to recognize me nowI know you can feel all the things you stealAnd you're taking, you're taking itFeeling so easyMake me skin and bonesI'm always on my knees for youYou break like it's evenWhen you're leaving itThin, where the hell have you been?Well sometimes it burnsBaby I'll wash it outIt all looks so bigNever mind, I don't feel anythingIt only hurt a bitI still feel like shitAnd I think you won't be able to recognize me nowIt's easier to quitIt's harder to admit andYou're pushing me, you're f**king pushing me!Feeling so easyMake me skin and bonesI'm always on my knees for youYou break like it's evenWhen you're leaving itThin, where have you been?'cause you always winAnd you... yeah!Laughin' like it worksBleeding like it don't hurtKnock you off your feetEven if you need meTear you apart and I hate how I need youFeeling too easy, make me skin and bonesI'm always on my knees for youBreak like it's evenWhen you're leavingIt's too f**king easy, make me skin and bonesI'm always on my knees for youBreak like it's evenWhen you're leaving itThin, where have you been?'cause you always win, and you always win, you always winI will burn all this [x9]

Frostina Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Halleluijah By Leonard Cohen ( although i prefer Rufus Wainwright's versin ) I heard there was a secret chord That David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth, the minor fall, the major lift, the baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelu----jah Your faith was strong but you needed proof, you saw her bathing on the roof, her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you She tied you to a kitchen chair, she broke your throne, she cut your hair, and from your lips she drew the Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelu----jah Maybe I have been here before, I know this room; I have walked this floor, I used to live alone before I knew you I've seen your flag on the marble arch, love is not a victory march, it's a cold and its a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelu----jah There was a time you let me know whats really going on below, but now you never show it to me, do you? (and) Remember when I moved in you; the holy dark was moving too, and every breath we drew was Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelu----jah Maybe there's a God above, and all I ever learned from love was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you And its not a cry you can hear at night, its not somebody who's seen the light, its a cold and its a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelu----jah
