Prince Duchess Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 So, this is for although ones out there that are working out and getting in shape. I wanna know what your listening to that gets you motivated or get you in the zone to work out. So the songs that I listen to while working out are: Adela- Just Feel It Dirty Money- Hello Goodmorning Benny Benassi- Spaceship Gucci Mane- Heavy Clipse- Im Good Tyreak- BodyRock Usher- OMG (Feat. Will.I.Am) 8ball & MJG- Bring It Back Rasheeda- Independent B*tches and etc. Now, I know we all have different tastes and styles that we all like but I'm curious to know what the majority of us is listening to.
Fishwings Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Top few I can think of are: Till Tonight - Laidback Luke Can you feel me - Tiesto 4 am - Kaskade (adam K soha) And Prince Duchess.... Thanks for introducing Spaceship by Benny Benassi, I can't believe I've never heard of that song before! I LOVE ITTTTTT <333333333 My hero.

NightOwl88 Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Hmm, usually whatever is load on my MP3 player at the time but I have to hear three specific songs during weightlifting, Never Gonna Stop - Ozzy Savin' me - Nickleback Next Contestant - Nickleback
Fishwings Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Voila! Hur hur hur, I see dimmakmmunication, I digg. Although I like the original better.
nightsky Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I like either some metal/hard rock, or dance music. Metallica's Creeping Death, One, Sad But True, master of Puppets... all great for pounding out some negative energy. Chanting "die... die... die..." gets you strange looks from the other ppl in the gym though, FYI. I also like A Perfect Circle, NIN, and Audioslave. Dance music... can go anywhere from Justin Timberlake (Sexy Back), Christina Aguilera's Dirrrrty, Daft Punk, Sarah McLachlan/Delerium- Silence, Plastikman/Richie Hawtin, Donald Glaude... Depends on if I'm on a good mood when I'm working out (dance music) or in a shitty "I want to beat someone but I'll work it off in the gym instead" mood (angry metal).
TetRefine Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Eye Of The Tiger- Survivor Kernkraft 400- Zombie Nation Till I Collapse- Eminem I Ran- A Flock of Seagulls Saturday Night's All Right (For Fighting)- Elton John Final Countdown- Europe Woke Up This Morning- Alabama 3 Viva La Vida- Coldplay Welcome To The Jungle- Guns 'n Roses
soup Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Girl Talk's album, Night Ripper. Basically just one massive, catchy, 40 minute song. It's also fun trying to recognise the songs because the DJ (Girl Talk) uses samples from over 200 different songs on that one album. Of Montreal's album, Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?. Energy overload Placebo, The Strokes, Sunset Rubdown, TV on the Radio, Yeasayer, The Magnetic Fields, Ladytron, Jackson Jackson, Digitalism, Daft Punk, The Crystal Method...or anything else that i feel like
Skyline Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Hur hur hur, I see dimmakmmunication, I digg. Although I like the original better. I could never agree with you there haha. The bloody beetroots make bad songs great. Its their destiny!
corvus Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 I used to jog to Mozart's Requiem in D Minor. The Introitus for warming up, and the Kyrie and Dies Irae for really going at it. And when I wanted to cruise, it'd be the Commendatore scene from Don Giovanni, or the mad scene (Il dolce suono... Alfin son tua... Spargi d'amaro pianto) from Lucia -- the 1955 with Callas, von Karajan conducting. Yes, I'm a classical nut. But I also do Bjork (Pagan Poetry, Hyperballad) and Madonna (Secret, Erotica).
Site Administrator wildone Posted May 9, 2010 Site Administrator Posted May 9, 2010 James, you sometimes scare me Me, I'm into anything metal or with a really fast beat to it.
