So, another chapter up, another step closer to the end.

Asher and River.

Silver learns some very important lessons. I'm left wondering how River is going to handle them

Posted (edited)

Barely into the start of this chapter you had in this order: a blank/stunned look, a knife protruding and Ariel screaming. You'll never know just how close I came to hitting the 'back' key. I think that the only reason I didn't do it was that I couldn't SEE it for a few moments. You!

Speaking of knives-you really know how to twist them, as I was POSITIVE that you were going to allow Asher to live Sometimes I could just......dammit, Nephy!

I just looked down at some notes and saw the title of ch. 33. Hell, that should have told us right from the get-go.

I am truly looking forward to seeing how you handle River as he begins to find out about Asher. Jealousy? Anger? Distrust? Hmmmmm.

:read: Also, I see a little something that could/maybe develop between Ariel and Jake--and don't start that thing about Jake being *straight*! I'm not buying it! (he could/maybe be bi)?

We...ell. Ariel is certainly going to give it a try. How far he gets is another question. I haven't decided who he ends up with yet but I have decided that he is going to end up with SOMEONE. He and Ben are the focus of the next book and between the two of them they cause some trouble I can tell you :)

It's been way too long since I killed of a main character. Be glad it wasn;t Silver or Ariel. I did consider both

I totally called that death Nephy lol.

Anyhoots that chapter really worked for me. Silver seems to be much stromger now than he was at the start of book 2 although this strength has come at quite high a price. Now we need to see what happens next what he and River decide andif they can make it work. As much as he loved Asher I still felt River was where he wanted to be now we just have to see what you have in store next although I get the impression that this book is drawing to a close :(

Still that does leave us part 3 which from what ypou have said seems quite interesting and fun and god knows those 2 could do with some fun

There's a way to go yet, but Silver's journey is almost at an end... almost.

As for book three I am trying very hard to make it fun and Ariel is helping but... well Silver kind of lends himself to darkness, I just can't help it

So, River and SIlver meet again. We find out a little more about what River has been thinking and feeling in the meantime and Silver says goodbye to Ariel and Tony... but what happens next? What will River do when he finds out what Silver has been doing in that time. That's for next week

Yay Rivers back

Still needs a slap every now and then though it seems but hes back Riber an Silver are back together and Silvers a whole lot stronger so all is good.

Quite how River reacts to Silvers escapades will be a bit of a mystery for now but that will reveal itself soon enough. Im more looking forward to seeing Silver deal with the less savoury characters from Child Protection. Hopefully he will deal with them and make them go away

Did feel for Ariel though poor boy needs a hug. Still overall big thumbs up Nephy loved it and glad the boys are back in business

Ariel will be okay. A huge chunk of book III is about him and especially his love life. SIlver keeps his promise about looking after him and he reaps the benefits.

I think that chapter 35 is the *strongest* one yet, in this story, Nephy. I'm not referring to action or even emotional outbursts-I mean for it's depth. It is RAW! It shows two people who have done a tremendous amount of thinking/soul-searching and are quite near the edge of understanding THEMSELVES, and now they are discovering that it is MUCH easier to understand the other person's feelings when they first can come to grips with who/what THEY are. :boy:

I think that this is going to be the pivotal chapter for the story. Just my opinion, mind you!:D

I realize that you still have your hands and mind full sorting out Ben etc, but I just can't see anything else top this chapter for importance to the story. This was fantastic! Hugs!

Thank you, Nephy.

Yes, this was totally a pivotal chapter. The two get back together and start looking at themselves as part of them as a couple. That will work out in time and I think there are some more pivotal chapters coming up.

Thre's still the Psychiatric Assessment and Ash isn't just going to be left in the hospital is he.

Okay I just started reading this post. I first have to say... You wouldn't kill Silver. Let's be honest here. You love him way to much. :P

I'm loving this story oh so very much though. I really do hope that River and Silver can work out as a couple this time around. It seems possible, but I still think both haven't grown as much as they need to. The story is riveting though and like always I'm anticipating the next chapter.

P.S. I'm really glad that we'll hear more from Ariel. I really like Ariel.

Me too and... okay I've made no secret of the fact that I am totally in love with Silver... but whether that means i won't hurt him... we...ell. :)

As for Ariel... I love him too. You get to see and awful lot more of him in Book III as do... other people :P

You'll hurt Silver... We all know that you've hurt him a many times, but I don't believe you'd kill him... I still think its just a bluff. And if you prove me wrong... I might go bananas :P

Relax... I killed Ash :) As I said I had to kill off one of them and it was either Silver, River, Ariel or Ash... so I guess you're glad it was Ash :) Although I'm thinking of killing someone off in Book III as well as it was so much fun. Maybe Sam could get killed on a shoot out. Or Ariel and Silver could be beaten to death for being too OUT. Or River could drown, saving Silver from a raging flood. Or Ben could die of shame when Silver and Ariel turn up at school dressed in their 'dancing' clothes.

You've given me so many ideas

So River and Silver are getting used to each other again, although it is really a matter of River getting used to Silver. Sam helps agains but the truth is that River is struggling.

Next time Silver has to face the psychological assessment and that puts a spanner in the works right enough.

I would like to see the way you think so answer these questions

Should River talk to Silver and tell him that he's uncomfortable with him talking about Ash and the others.

Should Silver listen and if so how.

What can River say to make things better and what can SIlver say

Should River go to the funeral

Thanks so much for this chapter, Neph! (36)

As I said over 'there' you have given Silver a whole new mental wardrobe. His mind is SO much more in touch with himself than River's is at the moment, and I really think that this is a good thing. I feel that Silver will be making the major calls for a bit.:2thumbs:

Answering questions here, boss!

River should definitely talk to Silver-but by no means should he make Silver feel uncomfortable about vocalizing his feelings regarding Ash and/or the others! Big no-no! River can explain to Silver that he (River) is uncomfortable about it-but make him (Silver) feel as if that doesn't matter nearly so much as Silver's need to express himself.

Silver should definitely listen-with his ears. (sorry)Posted Image

There is no way for me to answer the next question unless to say that they BOTH need to listen to EACH OTHER!

And as for the final question: There is every reason in the universe for River to attend the funeral for Ash (sobs)! I think that it would be a MAJOR REPAIR in the rend that has so far been evident since their reunion. Silver is going to need someone at that time-and it damn well better be River! (or ArielPosted Image) !!!!

You are so talented, Nephy! Thanks and hugs!

Silver hasn't changed THAT much. I don't think it's possible in that short a time. Sure his confidence has shot through the roof... now... but whether it will stay that way depends entirely on River. Silver's incresed confidence was almost entirely down to Asher and Ariel loving him unconditionally and. as well as giving him space, being ther for him absolutely. That's what River WANTS to do but he's not very good at it.

I think that people might have caught on by now that River is a loving caring person but he really isn't good at relationships. Getting the ballance between suffocating and supporting is not going to be easy for him and dealing with Ash is something that is not going to be easy. Not showing Silver that he is not dealing with Ash is also not going to be easy and something that carries over into the next book.

I hope you enjoy the remaining chapters and I hope that by the end River goes a long way towards redeeming himself.

Thanks so much for supporting this story

Well, it had to come eventually. Silver goes to see the psychologist for his assessment. It surprises him, mostly beause he isn't afraid.

I would really like to disucss what happens, the things he says and what they mean to everyone. I guess that's not going to happen but hey, I had to ask.

Yes to all the questions haha. But River needs to explain why he is uncomfortable with it. Because he feels Ash has taken something away from him. It is really pissing me off that Silver keeps talking and swooning about Asher and he just doesn't realize what it is doing to River......again it sounds as if only River is the one at fault....I don't like it and it makes Silver kind of unlikeable to me :( lol

Can't wait for the next chapter! I hope things will get better ;p
