Nephylim Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I like living in my own world. i spend so much time in other peoples' mine has a lot going for it.
Johnathan Colourfield Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I kind of seperate my life from my writing. For me it makes it more fun. Is this a bad thing to do? I write extremely systematically as Cia, Nephy and Tiger already know by my notes

Marzipan Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 I kind of seperate my life from my writing. For it makes it more fun. Is this a bad thing to do? I write extremely systematically as Cia, Nephy and Tiger already know by my notes I wanna have an ON-OFF-button in my brain... That would be perfect. But not gonna happen For the past hmm... 5 nights at least I have not had any controll of my sleep. I've been battling with all kinds of stories, mine and others, and irl stuff mixing together, in a most disturbing ways. Today I'm gonna try a new rule. I won't think about GA or my story or the readings I'm in middle of for a second. If I do so, I will cut down the ammount of time I spend daydreaming from my after work GA-time. Wonder what's gonna happen...

Marzipan Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Lol! It's starting in one hour, and ending after 8 hours from this post. Mark my words, peeps, I'm gonna stay strong.
Johnathan Colourfield Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 come on maria you can do this And Kingdom I break my entire story down into bullet points and then i break those down into further bullet points and from there i create my chapters Plus it makes writing quicker and more efficient for me Plus i have 'stop' points that i use when i want to stop writing i know exactly where i can carry on from

And I know where I want to end chapters, usually, but just because I've reached the end doesn't mean I'm ready to stop thinking about what I just wrote
Lugh Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 bullet points all in a row = out line remember johnny is in school he is still learning to be a writer he'll give that up when he breaks out of the box of formulaistic writing
Marzipan Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Jej! I survived the day! Only little setback was when I read my emails and saw some comments from GA and read them... That doesn't count, right... Now I can focus on the important stuff and spend all of my Saturday night reading and writing and generally hanging out here. OMG I have no social life... It's Saturday
