I've noticed that most of the posts in this section have no responses.

 

Can I ask the authors who have posted whether they have had private responses or whether their requests just get ignored.

 

If the latter is the case is there anything that you think can be done about it?

 

Should there be a 'pool' of editors and betas?

 

Is there any way that the programme that was being discussed back in 2008 can be ressurected?

It would be nice if the poster would come and let people know one way or the other.

 

As to the Editor and Beta Reader Program you are referring to, it's one of my goals to try and get it going this year. There are some things that needed be reviewed.

I got PMs, and in the past have PM'ed others

i find that the system works quite well

 

Especially with "Issues" that i have had in the past They were dealt with swiftly and calmly

 

I wouldn't have found my editors if it wasnt for this initial program

No PM nor responses for help ... got a hit and run critic ...

 

Its obvious that there is 90% no responses to help

 

but then it doesn't mean that there are enough editors that cover all genres.
