Right, YB. That's pretty much been my experience, and I've gotten with more than one straight guy. In my case, though, it was with friends, most of them teammates. Not to offend anyone but some of the posts in this thread(After re-reading) add yet another reason why i am ashamed to be apart of the LGBT community sometimes.

The fixation that Gay males have on Straight males makes otherwise sane Gay males who respect that someone is Straight and don;t try to debate and prove that there

is no such thing as a "100%" straight male.

Although we should consider that this is a guy who's just a teenager. If this were a 30-year old, I could understand the dogpile, but he is a kid and maybe not so experienced in the ways of the world. I think it'd help him if we explain WHY this is a bad idea, as opposed to just telling him he's stupid and morally wrong for wanting to do it.

 

Here's the thing. I'm gay. I have no interest in getting with a woman. If I were being told that I would just need to meet the right woman and I could be "turned", I would be pretty livid.

 

By talking about how you want to turn this guy, you're basically saying that you could negate someone's sexuality by being the "right" guy to do it. You see why this isn't a good thing? This is the kinda thing that may or may not happen depending on the type of person you are, what you do, where you are and all the right circumstances. It's definitely not a realistic or healthy pursuit like a couple of you have already pointed out and even if you are successful, it'll most likely be a one time and/or purely physical experience. Most folks are lazy... dislike confrontation... so what do they do? Blend in with the crowd of course (change their opinion). Survival instincts. So they are now "straight." Think about it. Our lives are hard. People hate us. It's not some jolly stroll in the park. If you are unaware of the multitude, overwhleming hate and ignorance the GLBT community has to deal with, it's time to wake up and see the world. Those rose colored lenses aren't rosy... they're are tainted brown (if you get my drift).

 

Don't delude yourself or lie to yourself. Personal freedom> pseudo love life. Respect yourself. Respect others. Be proud of who you are whether you are straight, gay, bisexual, transgendered, male, female... don't let that go. But trying to seduce a straight guy? Turn gays straight? Honestly IMHO sexuality is very fluid. I think in theory, it's possible for a few "straight" men to turn "gay" for whatever reason, as sexuality is largely dependent on social factors. It is however imperative to note that they are factors that are beyond our control and to consciously take part in any sort of "conversion" would be morally wrong and would probably backfire.
