[DomLuka] DD, the last chapter?

Recommended Posts

Gyah... i can't wait till the next chapter... I am about positive that Eddie won't die. But you really never know with Dom. So he could be burried in the next chapter. And i totally agree with Ann on the whole "if anyone will die it will be Aaron" issue. But i also agree with her last part... the bastard will redeem himself... because i just dont see Dom leaving him as TLS. So there you go... and also i think we will get 2-3 more chapters of this... you never know how many Dom has hidden away some where... so yeah. :worship:

When did a good Domaholic ever let something like that stop them?

Kitty 0:)

:lmao: Well, that's a good point... :lmao:

I suppose this means it's still ok to make predictions regarding what will happen in chapter 37?

Hmmm... I predict that there will be no cliffhanger in chapter 37! :D

I was bored and started looking at some of the historic posts in the olde yahoo group...and I came across my 'first' post back on Jan 7, 2005. It was in response to DD Ch1.

Although my more recent predictions on Luke & Rory didn't pan out, I had pretty well pegged what happened between Eddie & Gina way back in Chapter 1.

First off, I loved the first chapter of 'Desert Dropping' and where I

'think' the story might be leading.

In my mind, it's not so improbable that Mom decides that it's best for

Rory to move in with his father and that Grandma supports it. Mom

probably wanted Rory to one day meet and have a relationship with his

father. Her cancer forced her to start the process sooner than later.

Grandma Alice probably didn't put up a fight and supported Rory's move

because I'm sure that she learned enough about Eddie to entrust him to

raise Rory. Grandma loves Rory and would not send Rory to someone she

didn't have a good feel for. Also, Grandma Alice was no spring

chicken and probably agreed that for the long term, it would be best

for Rory to be with his biological father. She also probably

remembered Eddie from when he was friends with Rory's mom (maybe they

were friends, slept together, she got pregnant, he realized he was

gay, she never told him she was pregnant, he left town, etc).

It is of course too early to tell how things will pan out. I however

am intrigued and look forward to further chapters as the story develops.

I do have one complaint or worry about DD. I sure hope it doesn't

interfere with Dominic's time and effort on my first love, TLW :-)

Like other fans have commented, I've reread every chapter of TLW at

least two or three times. I have `never' done that with a Nifty

story. I also thought back and I think I read my first Nifty story in

1995 (that makes it almost ten years that I have been reading Nifty

stories!). No other story or author has captured my attention and

tugged at my emotions as much as TLW. I'm still trying to figure out

why I like the story so much. Is it the GREAT writing? My own

relationship with my older brother (I wish my brother was as

supportive as Tony and Chris were to Owen)? The frequency of the

chapters being posted? The infrequency of the sex scenes, making the

ones that do happen that much more `erotic'? Or all the detailed,

non-sexual contact that Owen & Aiden have (forehead to forehead,

bumping shoulders, etc). Probably just a combination of it all :-)

I didn't think I was this sappy, but when I re-read Chapter 1, the

part when Owen wakes up in the hospital and sobbed seeing Tony for the

first time in three years..Boy my eyes started watering... That's good

stuff!

from another fan,

Vic
