So here are some things we learned last week with Chapter 6 of Endings.

The Ancient Packs of the Trojan War

• Attila alpha of Thesauros Pack who wants to leave the Orifice open so they 'know' where their enemy is instead of having a vague threat from the East. This is a very 'traditional' appearance pack.
• Theodemir alpha of Cheima who wants to close the Orifice to protect the world of man. They are from the far north Scandanavia.

Cheima means Winter in Greek, this becomes the Winter Fir pack of Gavin and Sam's birth.
Thesauros is treasure store in Greek, this becomes the Golden Chestnut Tree pack of Al's birth.

The Owls
I believe the Owls are the Priestesses that went into the Trojan Orifice with the 'boy' to close it. Now just who is the boy? Is it their boss that we haven't met? Is it the Meta/boy of the last cycle? If so then are the priestesses his Army of Strength?

Yia, Gaukula, her, Iris, Sylvia, ‘ssandra, Amanda, and the messenger. Unless Bina is 'her' or the 'messenger' in which case there are 8 owls just as there are 8 inner circle members.

On the up side we can now say that Betsy isn't Bina or Yia. It does sound that Mrs Duta is either Yia or Gaukula. I would guess at this point that she is Yia and then Betsy is Gaukula.
Bina could be Amanda as she is someone we have barely seen and has been working in the background.
What is so important about the Messenger that they are refered to by a title?

• Betsy
• Sylvia/Fauna
• Iris
• Amanda
• Alex/Xander = 'ssandra
• Mrs Duta
• Mystery Member
• Mystery Member

Also just what is the precious? It is connected with Colt and brought into question since he is seeing a human. Could the precious be energy of the White Wolf?

The new information that the Montana pack is of no importance anymore so Sylvia has moved to the White Wolf Pack as she has intended to do for years in a way is troubling. For her to know that Zef and his 'mate' won't have any kids is also troubling. Just how do they know so much?

On Max and Christian's interactions. I'm torn about this scene and what has come of it.  Christian has the wolf cancer. He wants Max to take Andreas and go to the US to try and find a new Alpha for their pack. In a way it is stupid for Andreas to go with Max since he is working on finding a cure for the cancer himself but then maybe the cure for it actually lies with the White Wolf Pack, their former Meta or even the Owls..
