Something tells me this might be good for weekends, too. 👍🏻👍🏻 2

And tomorrow sounds kinda snowy maybe... we'll see. Getting out makes a difference. .I've been sleeping better. Usually 7 hours rather than 4.. much better. 4

Usually 7 hours rather than 4.. much better. The sun was wonderful today. As for tomorrow, the shovel will be back in service, I'd say. As for more walking, my neighbour in her 70s does that twice daily, so I decided to do a short on in the early a.m to see if that helps my "get up and go" get going better as I'm not a morning person in the slightest. 2

Did it help your get up and go? i have gone back to going to bed around 10pm.. and i get up between 630 and 7am.. i'm much happier that way.. don't fall asleep after dinner anymore.. i feel much better, but I've always been a morning person. 2

It did, but it's probably also because I'm walking outside as being outside is a big part of it for me. ETA: I think the walks act as an energy booster, though being dehydrated can cause fatigue too, so drink plenty of water. Having said all that, there are nights I still get hit with a wave of exhaustion, but that usually passes quite quickly. Edited February 15 by Reader1810 2

I don't carry water around with me, but i do drink a few glasses a day and then there's tea as well. i know when i haven't for sure. 8 hours ago, kbois said: **side-eyes @Reader1810** yes i am a mutant ... but i do have some redeeming qualities. Just make sure there’s enough food for Dan. 😏 3

Just make sure there’s enough food for Dan. 😏 It's trying to snow... we had some yesterday... but it was a mini blizzard, not the nice fluffy snow i hoped for. I'm disappointed. We went out for breakfast and walked to the store this morning. Since the doctor said I had lost weight, I had two big pancakes with eggs and ham. i will not need a snack today. It's about 29F today, but there's very little wind... so I was hot on our walk. 3 2

I was just hoping to see lots of nice be fluffy flakes.. oh well. 3

Jeezus... you sure you weren't a nun in a past life. They always demanded meticulous notes. Tell you what... I'll trade you my work tales for your tikka masala recipe. 1 5
Popular Post Wayne Gray Posted February 18 Popular Post Posted February 18 It's a Saturday night, on a long weekend for most of us here in the US (President's Day is Monday). So, I expected there'd be a bunch of events and things happening. And there's nothing. No bands. No karaoke. No parties. NOTHING. And I didn't want to just go out and drink; I wanted something different. Well, instead, I'm back home after picking up some sushi. I already wolfed that down, and Matthew (the boyfriend) is lying in bed, sorta awake but sorta not. I'm so restless, and there's nothing to spend this energy on. Living rural sucks sometimes. Mostly, it's great and I love it. Tonight, though ... definitely restless. 2 1 3
