I have a couple of questions for my Canadian Brethren. For story research:

1. How is the service on your Canadian Rail System? More specifically, the line called The Canadian which goes between Toronto and Vancouver.

2. Is the prestige class worth it?

3. Whens a good time of year to travel between Toronto and Vancouver?

That's mainly it. Unless you have better ideas for a Canadian Vacation.

Holy hot tomatoes! Almond flour is $10 a pound???

Not sure I would have bought it had I gone to the store myself, but I sent hubby and he gets what I put on the list.

How much are ALMONDS a pound?  Because you can make your own.

VIA Rail offers good service. Can't offer advice about the journey mentioned, have never taken it.

Don't use the trains often.

Don't travel in winter

I can! A vacation not taken on a train. I'd love to visit out east.

Thanks, Mike.

From what I was looking at, Via Rail seems 1000X's better than Amtrak.

I like trains, but I agree. My perfect vacation would be a cross-country car trip... in a Tesla Roadster. I would drive till I need to recharge, and that's where I would stop for the night.

magniloquent Audio pronunciation

adjective | mag-NIL-uh-kwunt

Definition

:
speaking in or characterized by a high-flown often bombastic style or manner

Magnus means "great" in Latin; loqui is a Latin verb meaning "to speak." Combine the two and you get magniloquus, the Latin predecessor of magniloquent. English-speakers started using magniloquent in the 1600s—even though we have had its synonym grandiloquent since the 1500s. (Grandiloquent comes from Latin grandiloquus, which combines loqui and grandis, another word for "great" in Latin.) Today, these synonyms continue to exist side by side and to be used interchangeably, though grandiloquent is the more common of the two.

It was 5:00 am when I finally fell asleep. UP at 9:30 am. WTF!

I'm around somewhat. Or will be when the fog lifts.

DUDE.  Melatonin helped me when I had trouble sleeping.  But it isn't going to help everybody, and it's good only for a short while to cover a deficiency in the hormone.  Can't hurt to try it!

I was told not to do Melatonin, due to the meds I'm on. But I am almost to the point of trying anything, doctors be damned.

You can turn just about any savory thing into breakfast if you fry an egg and put it on top.

Leftover chili +  Egg.  Now it's breakfast.
