Thank you all. Thistle is doing much better this morning. Walking about like normal no limp. The knee flexes without any sign of discomfort. There's no swelling, heat or pain when I touch it. He did this once before a couple of years ago hopping off the bed. That time the vet told me Thistle has a slightly unstable knee. Rest and an anti-inflamatory as needed were the treatment then and what I plan to do this time. I just need to call them and ask what med I can give him should it be necessary.
