Site Administrator Valkyrie Posted October 31, 2019 Site Administrator Posted October 31, 2019 My housework is almost done I have a little more laundry to do, then I can pack my suitcase. The car is all loaded for the weekend The window guy came and fixed my window, so now it closes again It's dark and gloomy and rainy out. It's supposed to get worse later, so I don't know that I'll get any trick or treaters. I'll leave for my vacation tomorrow morning 5

It's supposed to get worse later, so I don't know that I'll get any trick or treaters. I'll leave for my vacation tomorrow morning It was a dark and gloomy night, this hallowed eve, and lightning lit the sky as the lone woman tried but failed to close her cantankerous window. Why, of all nights, would it not budge? Another lightning flash caused her to back away from her efforts, and a shriek died in her throat as she watched a dark figure rise until it blacked out all light. How could this be... her bedroom was on the second floor. Frozen, she watched long and twisted, black claws grip the bottom frame. A pounding in her ears could not drown out the screech of the window moving upward... Oh, God! Why had she changed her plans? She shouldn't be here now... she should have been far away.... Blackness flowed through the opening, and in that instant she knew.... Happy Halloween, sis!! Edited October 31, 2019 by Headstall 3 3 1

Albert1434 Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 (edited) It was a dark and stormy night, flashes of lighting illuminated her bedroom. She was so glad she had lock her bedroom door. Clutching her blanket and pulling it to her nose from the fear she deeply felt. She knew there would be no sleep tonight! That was when the noises in the hall started, she gasped for air and screamed...… Edited October 31, 2019 by Albert1434 5
