Well here's a photo I took on Wednesday of the lower part of the back garden, near the house itself:

(I think there's a stone built garden shed under all those bushes on the right. It may need re-roofing once I rescue it, though )

The cake is baked.

A skewer inserted through the middle of it came out clean and dry. I'll leave it in the baking tin to cool overnight and head to bed now.
