Yesterday the staff were worried but today it’s all “doing better working his way back from the anesthesia”. My sister went in just before lunch and he was pretty much the same, I went in late afternoon and he was tired and I wasn't sure he recognised me but then he told me to sit, closed his eyes and mumbled something about my sister visiting. Didn't make a lot of sense but he was slipping in and out of sleep. 2 5

Very different from the forecast Monday and now I have all those bottles of sunshine sitting around cluttering up the place. Whatever shall I do? 1 4

Poor Mom and Thistle... What do you mean too many plaid lads? There is no such thing. Because of foresight and scientific herd managment my free-ranging herd can accommodate significantly more membership. 4 1 1

Popular Post Timothy M. Posted March 11, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 11, 2020 Sigh, Denmark is more or less shutting down to prevent spread of Covid-19. We are told to work from home, and all schools and colleges will close on Friday (the 13th ) for two weeks. They're going to pass a law to forbid gatherings over 1000 people, and they recommend avoiding gatherings of more than 100 people. More restrictions may come... 3 6

Schools in a couple of regions are close but the others are going to follow too to prevent spreading. Dad heard a rumor that schools might be closed longer, until after the spring holidays making it later April. Gatherings over 1000 people are forbidden too. All leftover masks and hydroalcoholic gel have been required by the government for the medical people only. Visit to nursing homes and too fragile people in hospital are forbidden too. The State University of New York system are closing all their campuses for the semester starting on the 19th. Classes will be completed online. My intern said her entire class is freaking out about the possibility of not getting enough clinical hours to graduate. A lot of people are doing placements in schools right now. If they close, they'll have to delay graduation. Where I work, they're having individuals over 60 stay home and not come to dayhab. We can still see them, but have to schedule them on an outpatient basis. 5 1 1
