Mum and I are trying to do our bit to continue supporting local restaurants we patronize. On Friday we ordered take out lunches from the place we usually go to on Tues for breakfast. Today we ordered lunch plus soup for this evening's dinner from the place we go to for Sunday brunch. Both are locally owned family businesses. Our thought is to order a meal each week as long as possible. There are a few other places we go to occasionally. We plane on rotating through them buying from one this week, another the next and so on. Doing this means we're helping them survive.

We used the leftover French toast and candied bacon to make patty melts for dinner.
