Sounds... entertaining. lol! I've spent several days 'fixing' one of my games (with lots and lots of mods) to make it just the way I like it, so today I finally got to play it.  That's my entertainment.

I reflect the spot from my screen onto the wall and he goes nuts trying to get it.    I'm doing a Zoom meeting with a bunch of old college friends in a little bit.  I'm really looking forward to seeing and catching up with everyone

I've been watching Downton Abbey for much of the afternoon/evening. It's actually really good. I've seen episodes before, but never the whole series.   I just got a chill, so the central air is working... turned it on about two hours ago, and the house is already cool.

My son brought his family by while his truck was getting an oil change... I got a frown from my granddaughter at first, but I finally saw her eyes light up. I think she was wondering why I wouldn't come closer.  I hope she doesn't forget me. My grandson is four in three days... he made sure to inform me.

I turned my AC on today too.  I loved Downton Abbey.  It's a great show.

Happy Sunday, all!   I had a great visit with my two daughters and my oldest granddaughter yesterday. I knew  my one daughter was dropping off my groceries, but the rest was a surprise. We all sat on the far side of the barn under the maples... and social distanced. It was wonderful, and while it made me happy, it also kind of made me sad. I'm missing so much of my grandkids lives, and wanted hugs so bad.

Still... I know most parents think so, but my kids are the absolute best! They want to paint the house for me, but I'm going to keep slugging away... I expect they will show up one day with brushes, no matter what I say.  

 

And ladders ... while they're painting you can fire up the grill for a social distanced picnic.

They keep threatening a heatwave here in Ireland. By all the laws of probability they're bound to get it right eventually...

84/29 degrees here. The sun is shining, and there's a light breeze, but it's more of a tease than a relief. Went to the greenhouse and bought some more stuff, but had to wear a mask, of course.     Currently inside the house with the A/C running.

Just don't over exert yourself in the heat, bro.  

It wasn't too bad of a day here, although very little sun. Temperature got up to around 17°C (63°F), with the same promised for tomorrow, although maybe a bit sunnier. I managed to plant my runner bean seedlings out at the bottoms of the canes of the trellis I put up over the weekend. Gave them a good watering afterwards, so they should get over the shock of the transplanting. Actually, the dull day was probably a better day for doing that job than a bright, sunny day would have been.

That was our temp yesterday, today it got to about 76/24° because of overcast skies most of the day.
