I had plans to pack away the last few things from Christmas and we'd spoken about it most of this week. However, while I was out to take Thistle to his weekly visit to puppy camp mum started a different project. One I specifically asked her not to do but rather wait until tomorrow. She was far enough into washing floors and shifting furniture that there was little choice but complete the house cleaning today. May not seem like a big deal but my head was already beginning to ache and that was more strenuous activity than I wanted to do. Now I have a the migraine I was hoping to avoid and mum is wandering around being mopey. This is the third time in the last month that she has done this sort of thing. She doesn't seem able to adjust to a change in the routine. She's aging more quickly than I am prepared for.

I'm probably an atheist, but grew up in a catholic country and did first communion, so had religion classes (like Sunday school). I always asked questions and lets say that even for religious people incest was not something easy to explain to kids. So imagine me trying to explain what you learn in school mixed with catechism... People/monkeys sex was involved... It made more sense to my 8 years old self than brothers and sisters (ewh).
