Wow. There's a heavy rain falling here and it's chill. Forecast to be downright cold this weekend. Low temps at or below freezing. We leave mid-morning Wednesday and travel halfway. Picked up our Thanksgiving turkey from the poultry monger at market this morning. Thirteen lbs plus. Fresh and locally raised. Went into the freezer until the trip. I'll pack it in ice along with some other local treats.

Well despite 5 tablespoons of lemon juice it doesn't taste like it but they're still good
