Thanks for the offer of help, bro.

But it's always fun watching the two of them squabble.  

And it's not as though my life is that lonely that I need to start adopting imaginary friends, anyway.

Well, I managed to get a few of the more mature of the hawthorn cut out of the hedge today. I'm now at, or just past midway. And I don't think there's anything that's going to be as difficult as what I have already removed...

I'm not sure if I'll get much done tomorrow. I have a doctor's appointment late morning, and am meeting a friend for socially distanced coffee, snack, and chat in a town about 20 miles from each of us at 2pm. If I get back early enough, I just might get a wee bit more done...

It is not an easy worming a horse by yourself.    I ended up with most of the paste on the arm of my coat. I had to find a thin stick to scrape it off and put it back on her tongue. It made me realize just how little strength I do have in my bad shoulder... and my supposed, but overworked, good one. I am hopeful I got most of it inside her. I turned her out after that for some exercise and she whinnied and ran around, eager to get back inside. That was kind of surprising. I cleaned her stall and put her back in. This whole week is supposed to be quite cold. It was nice to see her with so much energy.

Worming is not fun, especially when you have an uncooperative horse.  I've been flung all over the place, struck, and wrenched my back getting lifted off my feet by a really tall warmblood.  I was always happy to get the majority of the wormer in the horse and not all over me  I hope it helps her.  Good to hear she has so much energy

Yeah, her mother was quite a challenge, but she's pretty good, but I was clumsy in my attempt. I pushed the plunger a second too late... and while I reached up the side of each jaw with my fingers beforehand, to get rid of every clump of chewed hay, as usual, I missed some, and she used that to spit the wormer onto my arm. If it was summer I could have rinsed her mouth out with a hose... she kind of likes that. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I got most of it in... in the end.

Well, I'm bathed and shaved, ready for my appointment with the doctor in the morning. Nothing serious, folks, just need him to sign a medical clearance form, as my driving licence needs renewing. Although it would be serious, should he decide I'm no longer medically fit to drive my car...
