Others have to retrain their senses and brain and it can take 3 weeks to 3 months. 5 2

I've known several people who have had mild cases and they lost their sense of taste and smell. I'll be more concerned if her oxygen levels start dropping again. 6 1

My cousin's kids both lost their sense of taste and smell, but they came back quickly. 6 1

If I'd loose the sense of taste i think I'd eat a spicy pepper to see if i really can't taste it and see how my body react 1 4 2

It's triggered by pain receptors, not taste buds, so, yes, you'd definitely have a reaction. 2 3

That's not an uncommon side-effect of coronavirus, I understand. But it's apparently not a permanent thing. My niece, her husband, and two of their four children were infected earlier this year and lost their sense of smell for a while. For a while, they had to ask the oldest (10 year old) child to sniff the baby's nappy (diaper) to see if it needed changing. 5

It's 11:00pm now, so won't have an actual dinner tonight. But I'm planning on sardines on toast for supper. The Devil's work... 4

We're thinking that was the worst day and she's on the mend. Her oxygen levels continue to dip at times, but they go back up to normal levels when she rests. 1 3

Popular Post Bucket1 Posted March 18, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 18, 2021 Hey Gary As we know from the crowd here, people love and hate all sorts of foods. Val is happy to give anyone her share of the mushrooms and peas and I would happily swap with Val, she can have all of the evil cucumbers. 6
