How did the soup taste?

It tasted very good and was filling.  It's kind of like a comfort food for me, since everyone in the family liked it.  Mom always made enough for each of us to have two servings.

There was a huge raccoon fight at about three in the morning... and I don't know if one of my cats was involved. One mama cat appears to be missing... had a look around but the fight was outside so it's hard to tell what happened. 

My son saw a big raccoon back in the barn a few days ago, and we think he killed some of the kittens. I found one dead and two are missing. Don't know whether the mother moved them or she was too late. She's still around and is looking kind of thin.

Anyway, I just heard 'coon chittering again and it's a little early in the day for that.
