Actually Kitt designed a keyboard cover for me, because I kept drooling over those pics and my posts would look something like this:

Sounds like the opposite of an American movie called The Shaggy Dog. A lawyer is bitten by a dog from Tibet, which has mystical powers. When the lawyer gets stressed out in the courtroom (as lawyering is wont to be), he behaves like a dog. 

Sort of reminds me of how Un Indien dans la Ville was adapted into George of the Jungle. Both of the aforementioned American movies feature Tim Allen, and are both equally unwatchable.

You mean Jungle 2 Jungle Pagey.  George of the Jungle had Brendan Fraser as the star.  Now I liked Jungle 2 Jungle when I was a Freshman in high school,  because I thought the main kid was hot, and he was in a loin cloth for like half the movie. 👀

Oh, yeah! Sorry, I got them conflated!  Sadly, the original French version didn't have subtitles as it was advertised, so I had to rely on my limited knowledge of French and some context clues to understand some of the jokes. Initially, Disney did an English voice-over, but they botched it so badly that Roger Ebert actually insulted the movie in his review. Regardless, I remember "Mimi-siku" was very cute in both versions of the story.

That's funny you mention Roger Ebert, I never saw the French version, but I was aware of it, solely based on Siskel & Ebert's "Worst Films of 1996."  My dad sporadically would watch At the Movies as I was growing up.  Anyway, when I saw the trailers for Jungle 2 Jungle, I was like, "isn't that the foreign movie that Ebert hated?" 

Also, you remember the character's name!  I literally hadn't seen that film in over 20 years.  He was cute though yes.  Even for teenage Spikey who still couldn't figure out why he was watching this cheesy movie just cause there was a cute boy in it.
