It's what's known as survivor guilt (or survivor syndrome).

To be honest, what I still feel this day is sometimes an intense anger when I remember the reactions of the media, the governments, and many so-called christians to the outbreak of the disease. So many innocent people could have been saved had there been a different attitude.

I'd better shut up now, before someone tells me that I'm breaking GA rules by discussing politics in this forum.

Thanks, guys. It's all good. Stitches removed... there is inflammation but that's expected. I found out about my bicep... there are two tendons for the bicep and the small one was also detached, so he cut a few inches off it and attached it to the bone so it isn't floating, and removed the damaged, inflamed parts of the muscle. It doesn't work anymore, and I will lose about twenty percent of my strength from the bicep, but that's no big deal. :)
