Maybe it's like the Douglas Adams story ? I think it's one of the sequels to Hitchhiker's Guide, where a sofa gets stuck half-way up the stairs and only got that far due to a door appearing in one of the walls at the right moment. Of course, if the rip was there already, or the store delivered themselves, then they need to compensate or redeliver. LOL Yeah, a door randomly appeared in my hallway The rip could have been caused by the way they manhandled it through the corner. Either way, it was there upon delivery. They did try to deliver a replacement, but the delivery guys felt they couldn't get it safely into the room I wanted it in. So I requested the repair and was told I could have store credit. I asked for the manager to call me, because that's not acceptable to me, but haven't heard from him. They're supposed to come out on Thurs to repair the rip. 6

The previous owner said his grandfather bought it after coming home from WW2, but never had much occasion to use it. The paperwork has been updated, and the meters and engine parts are all new. Other than that, it's exactly the same as when it left the showroom. Sounds like he got a bargain 3 2

The sunrise is that early at this time of the year that the only way I'm likely to see it is if I've not actually gone to bed by the time it arrives! Still warm 78/25° and humid here but the weather is forecast to break later with potentially heavy storms and flash flooding beginning this afternoon and through the night. Much more pleasant weather to follow. Off to walk the pup. Hey, dugh. I was out at 4:30am with Cookie, and it felt amazing. There was a cool breeze! Warmer now, but it is dull, and there is still a breeze... kind of. 4 4
