Maybe it's like the Douglas Adams story ? I think it's one of the sequels to Hitchhiker's Guide, where a sofa gets stuck half-way up the stairs and only got that far due to a door appearing in one of the walls at the right moment.

LOL Yeah, a door randomly appeared in my hallway :P  

The rip could have been caused by the way they manhandled it through the corner.  Either way, it was there upon delivery.  They did try to deliver a replacement, but the delivery guys felt they couldn't get it safely into the room I wanted it in.  So I requested the repair and was told I could have store credit.  I asked for the manager to call me, because that's not acceptable to me, but haven't heard from him.  They're supposed to come out on Thurs to repair the rip.

The sunrise is that early at this time of the year that the only way I'm likely to see it is if I've not actually gone to bed by the time it arrives! :rofl:

It was a great afternoon, thanks. I'm back home now. I've promised to bake some chocolate chip cookies for the 15th birthday of one of my friend's son. So that takes precedence this evening. :)
