We only open them at night and very early morning. The cats are trying to stay fresh by lying on the tile floor. I'm hoping this time the tomatoes won't suffer much unlike last time though the heat is good for the watermelons cause yes it seems like we'll have at least one watermelon here in Picardie ! The worst will be Thursday with 41°C expected. I have to go with my brother (to hold his hand cause our mom can't be there) to his follow up appointment with the surgeon. The car ride is going to be a pain. Hi, Tink. 5

Popular Post Headstall Posted July 23, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 23, 2019 So... $700 to have a gorgeous maple tree taken down. Better than some other quotes I had a while back. It has a split in it, and the guys I had out said it was definitely a danger to my house. Two guys will come next week and climb and cut. Sad, but it will take a lot of worry off me... should have had it done long ago. 2 5 1

Some notifications stay in bold despite having been read. And when I post a post it post well (that's a lot of post in just one sentence) but the text stay in the comment box. I have to refresh to write another post. 7

And my "followed content" keeps disappearing. Stories are unaffected, but if I choose to get notifications about my writer's prompts, or anything in the forums, then those notifications will be turned off when I check back the following day. 5 1

But paying someone else to cut it certainly sounds like a better idea than you standing on a chair trying to cut the branches... 34 minutes ago, Headstall said: Does anyone else still have issues with notifications and posting? I right-click on View all notifications and open them in a new tab. Then I open each one separately in its own tab. I sometimes find I have to to refresh after posting a reply to a comment, otherwise I cannot post a new reply, or like any existing comments. 14 minutes ago, Albert1434 said: Aloha Marty and good day to you Hey, Albert! The extreme heat set off a series of intense but short-lived, 3-4 hrs in duration, migraines. I woke this morning thinking today would be more of the same. Sadly, it seems the weather change has triggered something nastier. I was able to complete a few chores this morning but by midday enough was enough. I am medicated with haldol and hoping for the best. Blessed be y'all. 2 5
