It's also Paper Airplane Day, so we'll have a contest to see who can make the best looking plane and see which plane has the best flight. 

The prize will be Blueberry Cheesecake.

I remember the use of thongs for what is now called flip flops. The underwear makes probably couldn't come up with a name for their new line do they took over the use of thongs for their skimpy line.

Each year on May 30th, Loomis Day recognizes the man who received the patent for wireless telegraphy in 1872. The Washington, D.C. dentist, Mahlon Loomis, received US patent number 129,971titled “An Improvement in Telegraphing” on wireless telegraphy in July of 1872 beating Guglielmo Marconi's United Kingdom patent by nearly 25 years.
