  1. Put egg on my head will ya? Ha! *Decides to test the strength of an eggshell but shoving it somewhere the sun doesn't shine in Hamen Cheese. If it doesn't break, gives him a good swift kick in the rear.* Enjoy getting that out! Other fun egg use: put a hole in both ends, scramble the insides and blow in one end to push the egg out the other. Wash out egg, let dry. Fill egg with paint then make a picture by blowing the paint onto paper to make abstract art
  2. Sounds like you are in a better place right now than earlier blogs. yay! I'm glad things are looking up.

  4. Have a great day, Kev!
  5. I read anything and everything. Genre matters to me somewhat as well as age but I try not to judge until I've tried each story myself. I don't care if it's f/f, m/m, m/f, m/f/m, f/m/f, whatever other combo you can throw in there. I'm forever trying to find new books to read, though I am much pickier in those than I am in online fiction, mostly due to length. Really I don't need sex in the stories, graphic or discreet. A good story stands on it's own. That's not to say I don't enjoy a good sex scene if it's done well, because I do. And it doesn't really matter to me who is having sex, as long as it's well written I can enjoy any combo of characters. As for writing, I write the characters that come to me. I don't think I write guys who are especially feminine, if anything I have regular guys or a bit more 'alpha' male types. I am not arguing, I've read stories that the 'alpha' male character calls the other male lead character derogative names and feminize them, especially in regards to sex scenes. I've never liked those kinds of stories honestly. But what do you mean unrealistically feminine traits? Is a guy who is in touch with his feelings, who is comfortable sharing them and being open about them 'being feminine'? Is it a guy who likes to shop, who knows fashion and is open about that 'feminine'? What exactly is it that makes something a 'womanly' trait versus just a human trait? Why do we stereotype that way? I've known men in real life who were gay and as 'macho' as they come, as in they love sports, beer, hanging with the guys and all that and I've known gay men who dress in drag at times and who get mani/pedi's and go shopping with their women friends. I also know straight men who do the shopping thing way better than I can and who don't like most sports but enjoy reading a good book with a glass of wine. I myself write m/m but it's just the characters that come to me. I don't view it as sex for me, it's not the sole thing I think about when it comes to sex. I happen to be married to a man but I'm bi. I like to think I have a wide variety of interests and experiences with people (of all types, not just sexual experiences) that easily identify with what you might think of as a 'male' character. I hunt, I fish, I like football, I don't like to shop or be fussy about being a woman with things like fashion, hair or make-up. That being said, I like being a woman, I just am not your 'stereotypical' one. Being secure in myself, in watching scenes it doesn't matter, f/f, m/f whatever, I don't feel the need to put myself in the actor/actresses place in any way. I'm not the ideal size 6 or whatever and I really don't care too much. Does not being an 18 year old slim waisted perky chested girl with tight clothes limit a woman's options? Sure. But it is similar for men I'd think. Does that mean watching videos and reading stories with sex isubstitutes sex for them because they feel they can't get it in real life? Maybe. But I think younger people often think that sex is only for them and don't realize that most people as they age give up those 'ideal' body types and issues and find someone based more on compatability and overall attraction not just appearance, so not being that perfect type isn't as much of a hindrance as you might think. I don't think women who like m/m stories or vids are interested solely to avoid comparison to their own bodies or because they lack other options. I think it's an interest for them, that's it. You can't really pin down interest like that as having a single sole reason. Attraction, desire and sex are really so much more complicated than that.

    Dirty poll #9

Vote didn't work for me but it would be No, and Nope, never seen it and not interested just because. Not because I think it's nasty but just because it's not even on my radar for interesting. I'm not icked by it and my own motto happens to be to each their own as they say.
  7. I have several pillows that I rotate depending on the night. I have a regular fill one, a body pillow, a body pillow sized bolster pillow, a down pillow, a king sized pillow and a really broken down cheapo pillow. I started using more than one when I had my car accident and then the kids came along. Now each night I use a few to do my reading or writing anjd then use one to sleep on usually but it varies which one. It's like, test-nope not this one, test-nah too fluffy, test-hmm... almost but... test-oh yeah, this is the one. Snore zzzzzz
  8. It's a GA birthday greeting! It's great, yeah? Hope you have a good day!!
  9. Awww, thanks everyone!! You are all so sweet. to everyone!!!
  10. Yeouch! I've burned my palm before. It's a very bad place. Make sure you keep it clean Read those car peoples the riot act!
  11. I'd like to say, I am not now nor have I ever been any part of the C.I.A.! Cia is part of my real name and has been my nickname since I was a baby. Of course there was more added to it but I don't let anyone call me the rest anymore. lol Way too embarrassing.
  12. Yeah, that fits!
  13. I'm me no matter where I am but the difference is comfortability. I, like Paul, am very scared of people out in public though that is almost completely limited to men. Lack of eye contact, posture and soft voice just comes automatically to me when I'm lost in a sea of strangers. But here on GA I don't have to worry about that and the freedom of not having to work away the intimidation allows me to become friendly. I am the same way when I finally get to know someone though, so it's not a 'new' me. It's just the me that is comfortable with people. I talk a lot, sometimes share way too much info and like to tease. I do like a certain anonymity with this site. Cia is a part of my name but google it and you get CIA so I'm pretty sure the spooks protect me in that respect Some of my GA friends are on my facebook which has some personal information as to location and such but for the most part that's relatively tame as well. I don't post my pictures online or my kids for our protection but I've always been that way. I've shared some pictures with people but only when I can just show them, I don't like the idea of people seeing my pic when I don't know about it. As for my openness about this site and my real life... A good portion of my immediate family know, a few of my sisters, one of who called me a freak, and those friends who are important to me. I like who I am on GA and who I am in real life, they're pretty much the same person but I have to admit to a bit of compartmentalizing. I think most people do it. I don't think hiding or omitting some things is always lying as long as you try to not misrepresent yourself. Sometimes you have to do it to make your life work.
  14. I have a 100 pound doberman. He's very very well trained. We taught him all the common commands, sit, down, stay, come. The fun ones, shake, little speak, big speak, high five, smile. Then we taught him the safety commands, he stops playing instantly if someone says 'Ow!", he will actually nibble food out of a hand with his lips, you can pull his ears, his tail, take his food, his treats and he doesn't blink an eye. He was 3 when I had my first baby and 5 with my second. He's very protective of them, always insists on going in the backyard if they are out there and has never once attacked another animal that has either been in his yard or that we've taken him to. He even plays with our 13 pound cat and runs away from him. That being said... he's big, scary looking when he growls and is very protective of my family. Which makes him ideal for protection. We have guard dog signs up on my double gate and house. If someone I don't know comes to the door my dog comes with me to answer it. They can't say I didn't warn them when they walk right up to a sign by the door. But... I've been chased by dobermans and pit bulls. For these types of dogs running is the worst thing you can do. I stood against them and they backed off. A lone dog typically will. A pack, well those pretty much just have to be put down, especially once they become accustomed to enforcing their territorial dominance by violence. My family's mantra has always been, there is no room in this world for a dog that bites. I support that wholeheartedly. That being said, most dogs have reasons for being aggressive. They were either abused and snap out of fear or were taught to be aggressive. Has anyone ever seen a puppy that was feral? Most likely not. There is a reason for that.
  15. Wow. When I complain about the work situation that has seen my husband having repeated layoffs for months at at time the last 2 years I'll stop and think that yeah, we're not alone. As for the PSA tests, good luck. Good thoughts to you for a favorable test and outcome.

LOL, poor Hoskins. I believe you can edit the titles of your topics, however if you want one deleted just drop a pm to a mod or admin. We can do it for you. However, I too expected a demonic clown I hate that movie!
  17. Depends. If I'm eating a basic boring green salad with tasteless lettuce I like something with a bit of flavor like Green Goddes dressing. I love the light licorice flavor from the tarragon and chervil. If I'm eating something with better flavor, like a spinach or meat salad I usually go for something lighter like a raspberry vinagrette though I'm picky as to the brand. I really like Marie's. It's all natural and goes really well with my favorite salad, Mango chicken.
  18. I love Garth and Strait. Sorry, country girl, I was raised on them I have to say for pure vocals my favorite singers are Celtic Woman. They have a styling that is just amazing and their version of gives me chills every time I hear it.

    Dirty poll #7

Lots of things. So many it would boggle the minds of those here. I shall not disillusion anyone from my sweet and nice reputation by sharing
  20. LOL. We have seagulls like that here.
  21. You're old, so old! JK. Hugs and luvs. Happy Birthday Steve!!
  22. The style is wonderful. I like the way it is being spoken to the reader. Please continue and post, it is a worthy addition.
  23. Hugs! That is a very stressful situation. Maybe you can take the laptop to the library or something and hook up to the wifi to get some peace for yourself. Just a thought. Good luck dear!
  24. I was reminded that I had not started a forum topic for this story. If there is interest in talking about the story or any questions I'm more than willing to read and spill, well, as long as it doesn't spoil anything I hope everyone reading is enjoying the story so far, I have really appreciated getting all the comments and reviews on it. And just so everyone knows my plan is to keep posting fairly regularly, I have several chapters done ahead of where I am posting in that effort. I hate long breaks in stories so I will endeavor not to inflict any of those on you guys!
