Reading Def's review surprised me. I'd have to look back on your Valentine's story for the one clue, but I just assumed Angel was male. It didn't dawn on me that Angel could have been female. Go figure! lol Anyway...I totally loved the story, Tim! Imp was so funny with the way he talked, loved that type of accent! And when he played with his tail it was so comical. Of course he did it just to annoy Angie. This was a very entertaining read, Tim.

'Things were good for now.' What's THAT supposed to mean? I want them to be good forever! lol Wonderful story, Renee! I really enjoyed reading about these two, and also Brent and Trey's parents. The other two adults, who shall forever remain nameless, can just burn in hell. I'll look forward to seeing these guys again if/when you continue their story.

I must admit, I didn't get the threat either when Alex whispered to that bully. At six or seven, she was so clever! When David asked Randy, "She threatened him?" I was like, threatened? What's he talking about? lol Then I reread the last part where she subtly suggests he needs to keep his puppy safe. At least the bully got the veiled threat! I'm happy to see Chuck happy with Curt, but I really thought he and Matty had something. The way David described it when they came over to visit, the way they looked at each other and touched each other seemed like they were a couple. I know Matty still wants David, and doesn't he also want Martin? And who does Randy want? Not Matty... The talk with Randy went very well. Randy was cute when he admitted to still liking David 'like that'. I wish they had time to have the talk David wanted to have. I'm so curious about the questions he'll ask Randy. Ok, on to the next chapter!

Wow, that's really sad about Jamie's mom. She sounds like she was a great person. Maybe Jamie's obsessed with racing because it hurts too much to think of taking up hockey again. It would be completely different now without her to cheer him on.

Where in Jersey is Jamie racing? Englishtown? I like the story so far. Gizmo and Gears are cute nicknames for his friends. If you don't mind a little crit -- many of your sentences are run-on; you need commas or you just need to make the sentences two or three sentences. Also, when you're writing dialogue, each character's dialogue gets a different line. You can't have the characters all talking on the same line because it's too hard to follow. Who's saying what? Know what I mean? If you check out the stories on the site, you'll see that each section of dialogue has its own paragraph. I'll try chapter two now.

Damn! How'd Clochette get here before me! lol That sonofabitch Roger is behind this! How the hell did he know about Galen? Josh wouldn't have told him. Or was this a coincidence? The bartender said he usually chats up guys who are alone. How many guys has he brought to that cellar place? How many have left alive? Omg, he's a murderer!!! And Josh had no idea! Galen better be alive, otherwise Roger will have your whole readership after him, never mind Liam, Josh, and the cops! And as you said, Val, we come with pitchforks!

What Tim said. I think I spent three-quarters of the story wanting to deck Corey's father! I loved this story. I loved all of Krista's stories that I've read so far. She writes about real people and people that the reader can relate to so easily. If you haven't read SiS, you definitely should. I know, Krista, I know -- I have like a gazillion chapters of TBY to catch up on! lol Congrats on being featured, Krista!

I was surprised to see Danny come out of the elevator. It was wonderful seeing him, although I did not like the warning he gave David. As everyone else mentioned, PPF and TWWSFRN are still out there. I'm assuming somehow Grandpa and Uncle John had Josiah Fucking Coulton and the other boy "taken care of", although I wouldn't put it past PPF either, just to make sure they stayed quiet. But, PPF and TWWSFRN are still a threat to David. Now of course, Danny could have been talking about David harming himself. We don't know how he's going to react once he figures out what Burch has done to him all those years ago. And of course those repressed memories could be preventing him from realizing his own sexuality. How will dear old Dad take it when he realizes that Burch was sexually abusing his son right under his nose? I know the clues were there for such a long time, but I was still shocked to find out Chuck is Danny's stepbrother. So Chuck never even knew Danny? What a shame. Wonderful chapter, Skinny! As usual!

Interesting chapter, Skinny! I'm trying to play catch-up now! lol Along with everyone else, I'm glad Lanni didn't fall for Cal's ridiculous attempt at seduction. The thrill of her life! His hot rod! Omg, what an idiot! Ben was nice to warn her about Cal the Skank. It's interesting that Twoey feels so much disconnect with David. Maybe he's been so wrapped up (and wrapped up with! ) about Erik (and controlled by Erik, let's not forget!) he hadn't noticed the distance growing between he and David. I have a feeling that if he tries to shorten that distance, Erik will be right there steering him away. Erik won't even let Twoey eat lunch with his friends anymore! And it looks like Twoey doesn't even have any say in the matter! David's nightmares about dead Burch are coming pretty steadily. I wonder when he'll finally realize what it really is, and when he does, he will need a lot of support from his family and friends. If he even tells them what he thinks. It's funny how David doesn't think he's passive in his relationship with Alex. lol She's the same as Kathy, except she's a bit more controlling. Hey, she should get together with Erik! They can try to control each other! Nah, they'd wind up killing each other. Ok, on to the next chapter!

I can see Cory's point about ranting and raving to Sandy and Casey, but he shouldn't compare himself to Lawson. He would never let his emotions get the best of him enough to kill someone or even strike someone. I'm glad Lawson was able to trust Cory enough to tell him the truth about his mom. It's obvious that Lawson has had problems his whole life with keeping his emotions in check. And what's with Lawson mentioning the guard by his first name? lol Were they getting very friendly in there? And not to sound stupid...but I will anyway...who's William Foster? lol

Reading your poem, Tim, gave me chills and made me cry all over again. It was a beautiful poem, and you honored all those we lost and all those who are still suffering.

I'm sure Tim is right; Lawson knows how Cory feels, and he is going to take advantage of that. Hopefully, when Cory gets to the prison, Lawson will still be alive to do that. lol I didn't like the tall, thin, black-haired guard, and I didn't like the red-haired guard's smirk when they were leaving. I'm not sure if I trust them. I wish Cory went with them, but then that would only delay what might be inevitable. I'm really feeling badly for Cory now because I think Sandy messed up his mind so much it has to be hard for Cory to give his full attention to what's going on. He gets distracted easily.

Poor Cory. As if it's not bad enough what Sandy did to him, now the ex comes in (he doesn't live there anymore, so he's totally violating Cory's privacy), and takes most of the stuff he bought???? That's just cruel. He felt badly about taking the TV, so he left Cory money ON THE NIGHTSTAND????? Sandy didn't even have the decency to call Cory to let him know he wanted to pick up a few things. And what's with the way he signed the note: with love and affection? After the initial break-up note, your friend. WTF? Oh, and in a few weeks, he'll be able to talk to Cory. WTF2????? Like, he's the one who cheated on Cory with CORY'S BEST FRIEND, so why does HE need time away in order to talk to Cory? CORY is the one who would need time away to cool off. As for Gordy, Idk...it seems like Mr. Lawson has a temper. lol I look forward to finding out more about this guy.

I agree with all your readers about the beautiful description of the scenery of the Gulf Coast. I felt like I was there. I WISH I were there! lol The boys on the beach were so cute. And, like many of your other readers, I saw the parallel between Toph and J, the boy with the religious parents. Sometimes a nice break like that can bring Toph's muse back. As Tim and AC said, you can't force art. Sometimes you need to step away and take a break. I thought Toph's "conversation" with Clarence was pretty funny. And sarcastic. lol Clarence deserved whatever Toph dished out. I thought Gary has been terrific for the past two chapters at least. I hope it lasts because Toph is falling for him big time. I don't want Toph to get his heart broken. And yes, Toph, call Merle!!!!!

This chapter definitely showed a different side of Mike. The needing, clingy, apologetic side. So he wasn't angry with David; he was angry with himself for getting jealous, when Rain was showering him with all his attention too at one point. They do need to talk, but at least they're both calm and physically connected. Sometimes that's very important when you feel anxiety about a relationship. And yay for Vicky and Mark. I hope it lasts! Now hurry up with the next chapter, Lux...I'm already having withdrawal symptoms!

Boy, can they all drink! lol I remember those days! haha Now it's like one drink, and I'm already two sheets to the wind! I do agree with Jay; what the hell was Rain doing flirting with David like that when he, number one, was with his girlfriend, and number two, knew that David was with Mike (thought they were married actually -- didn't he use the word 'husband' when he was talking to Mike's boss?). I would have left after the balcony scene. For one, my stomach would have been in knots, feeling too anxious about my partner, so I would have gone home. Now David is gonna get trashed and maybe not even remember what happened, or worse, just pass out on Vicky's couch! Well, actually, he shouldn't be driving any time soon anyway... Now on to Mike: he should NOT have gone home without telling David. Even if he was pissed off at David for wanting to stay, never mind eye-fucking Rain (which, wasn't Mike doing too??????), he should have stayed with David, or at least told him he was going to call a cab because he wanted to go home. I think Mike's going to be furious that David didn't follow him home, considering Mike had the rest of the night all planned out. In his eyes, David ruined that.

So, ok, Mike didn't seem so bad in this chapter. At least at the end of the night and the next morning. His reaction when he came through the door wasn't so pleasant, but he got better as the night wore on. I, too, was surprised when he agreed to go to the party and even dress up! Let's hope he doesn't back out at the last minute!

Great first chapter, Lux! I'm not sure if I like Mike right now. He seems so distant, but that's probably because work takes up so much of his time. David does need to get out more. Maybe take up a hobby or something when he's not working... I'm looking forward to the party.

I couldn't stop laughing, Cynus! The banter between Druella (was she supposed to be like Cruella? lol), and the demon was just hysterical. Omg, he was a hoot! Although, I need to read the ending again, because I'm really confused. What did the demon mean by it liked Ms. P? Oh! I get it! I think! lol Did it mean since both witches summoned him to kill the other, he had to kill Priscilla also? Terrific story, Cynus!

I loved it too, Val! What an awesome story! My heart was in my mouth when the dogs were getting closer. Wow, what a surprise ending! I didn't see that one coming! lol When I read your title, the only thing that kept popping up in my mind was Samantha from Bewitched, twitching her little nose, and doing her little magic. Omg, I can seriously hear the theme song in my head!!!!!

Wow, I loved the two toward the end: the one all about love, and then right after it, the one about betrayal. Awesome job, Emi! Emi, I know I've said this in the past, but you really found your calling in poetry.

Wow, Emi, that was really good. It gave me chills. So sad thinking the other person feels the same way about you that you feel for him, only to find out he doesn't.
