Somehow, I see this getting out of control simply based on the numbers, there must be, in this country, thousands of people in the Blast stage...

Expecting Guests and Birth of New Atlantis
drsawzall commented on R. Eric's story chapter in Expecting Guests and Birth of New Atlantis
Loved this chapter, I remain concerned about Luis Barrasso of Amigos dos Amigos and the introduction of all the technology to others. Can/will Athena or Oracle know if sensitive information is being given to the wrong folks???? Keep your muse fed!!!! -
I think Finlay is just fine with what Emmet truly is....
-
Well, your muse is certainly on the right track with story, so much packed into this chapter!!!

Grrr...sniff and as I look at the empty box of Kleenex, I've resorted to paper towels... There were casualties along the way, including the well-publicized closure of an auto parts distributor by the vindictive brothers that cost 2,000 jobs, along with the surrender of an insurance company and mining rights over a large amount of land in Colorado. But what they had salvaged was extraordinary, especially when pundits predicted that they could lose it all to the nefarious brothers. It was already touted as the next classic business school case study. Even their mother, with all her own formidable resources, couldn’t save her boys. While she was no pushover, Mr. Patterson could help taking satisfaction with how Mickey continually had her on her back foot. He often had made intimations (at Parker’s suggestion) that they’d go after her personal assets, too. I would have much rather seen the step-witch pay a higher price along with her drug-addled spawn, but there's impetus for a second book here, along with watching their lives in the future with various causes they champion...perhaps finding a way to save the auto parts distributor, but who knows what their future holds... As to the news there is only one chapter left, all I got is....

Love the story, looking forward to seeing how this goes....that and one could hope Barla finds a fishing net or hook....

Mother always told me along with the fact that good girls don't pass gas, that going to bed with worries accomplishes nothing and nothing can be done till morning..... That they all need to communicate better is obvious, setting aside time to have quiet moments as a group, couples, and as father and sons is wonderful, but we've been there before in previous chapters and apparently to little or no effect as a result of those discussions. Will it stick this time, or will all of these repetitive issues continue to fester????

Engineer Benson - July 29, 1993
drsawzall commented on Wayne Gray's story chapter in Engineer Benson - July 29, 1993
Another thought, what if we are looking at a 'cure' ass backwards...rather than a cure for the survivors, perhaps if not a 'cure' for the zombies, I mean...what's left to work with, essentially, they're dead...then the avenue I am thinking on is something that causes the zombies to simply fade away... -

I have to wonder if at some time in the future a trip to that facility Jake spoke of would be in the works...As to a 'cure or vaccination' it seems fairly improbable without a proper lab to work in... I also wonder as to the lifespan of the zombies, at some point, whatever is fueling them is going to run out.... -
Alvin has done wonderfully in such a difficult economic environment!!!

I'll take those odds, will Alan swallow????....However, I am still rooting for the intercession with Brandi and Alan, Cal and the gentleman from Food Services...perhaps both will be on the facilities/groundskeeping side....

Chapter 1 - July 9-11, 1993
drsawzall commented on Wayne Gray's story chapter in Chapter 1 - July 9-11, 1993
I had the same reaction to the TV series Lost, when they spotted the polar bear on the tropical island, I changed the channel -
The facts have been laid out, in a clear and convincing manner that can't be denied. The brother's legal team may try to paper over and obfuscate. At the end of the day, the numbers according to the evidence laid out, dates, times, receipts, memo's, emails, the whole danged paper trail is and will be damning...and criminal..... There will be blustering, counterclaims, denial of the evidence, in a poor attempt to save the idiotic miscreants. However, as they get deeper into this mess the brother's legal team will try to cut some sort of 'Grand Bargan" as the soon to be ex-step-witch will be pushing towards that end, all full well knowing it not only impacts her, but her considerable resources, social standing, and whatnot, not to mention the salacious publicity.... It is not the time to let up on the grand champion, first class A-Holes but to go scorched earth... Looking very much forward to the newest addition to the family!!!! Here's to a safe and uneventful birth!!!!!
