I'm not sure why this trial is continuing, other than to sort out what a shithead the boy's natural father is...I may be wrong, but Attorney Clark has to realize what a looser of a case he has...What possible grounds could the turdblossom and his attorney possibly have that would decide the case in his favor... Interesting to see that the human chimney was in court with the fuckwad, it just goes to prove that it ain't love betwixt the two of them, but the possibility, however remote, of a significant payday...what could she possibly be thinking after the testimony of 20 past girlfriends...all with the same, sad story... Judge Crustypants has to realize he has been boxed in, the threat of jail to Billy for insisting on fairness could be a career ender if it ever got to that and in a judicial fitness review forum... I remain curious to see what the ramifications will be for the assault on Caleb, keep it cool and remain cool Brian...

The road ahead and the path to recovery will not be easy and I suspect some tough times ahead...

Well, color me confused as Oscar as to Julia's intentions, why did she drop off the face of the earth and what could Dieter and Bastian possibly need? I would suspect that the vehicle is packed to the gills with little to no room for either of them...

Along with the note regarding the concerns in the last chapter, the following does not bode well... So much for the supposed and vaunted homegrown spy network.... Perhaps, the deaths of Charles and Mary Tudor were too anti-climactic and the sudden peace too abrupt for me and my allies. We dropped our guard and the long peace left all of us open to the hidden dangers within our current world.

I think that Prince George deliberately chose to stay in the background as well...I think the late Baron's impulse control and deviancy earned him his just deserved ending... There is something 'special; about Greg, we see it in many of the ways he acts, as he becomes more comfortable in his role, I think we will see his influence expand... To the victor goes the spoils in this society... I have to hope Jake is turned quickly and with no ill effects...

Loved the following, succinct and to the point, I would go a bit further, take away their cable TV and internet, give them a forced subscription to Mother Jones along with mandatory diversity classes....

It is a very good question, another case in point concerning federal vs state laws... Around a year ago, the Supreme Court ruled properties taken for non-payment of taxes and sold to satisfy the tax obligations, the funds realized after the taxes/penalties, belonged to whoever owned the foreclosed property, not the municipality, mortgage institution, or those who bought the tax lien... Here in Massachusetts, our state house is now in the process of addressing that Supreme Court decision...One would think that once the highest court in the land made that decision that equity realized, would have stopped that foreclosure process immediately....

While we can see that Oscar is a driven personality, I am at loggerheads to understand the reasons for the panic attacks in the past and now in the present. If I can remember correctly, Rizen made an unacceptable groping of Oscar's nether regions. a brief...one time affair, that led to sadly to the event we've just learned about. I have to wonder if something happened to Oscar as a young child, memories having been blocked out due to trauma... I am not Oscar's biggest fan at the moment, I would think that his life experiences, maturity, and general disposition would have allowed him to be the bigger person and at the bare minimum, accept the apology tendered by a very remorseful Rizen. Having accepted the apology, both young men could have gone on with their lives, without any interaction between the two... The following bothers me greatly...While I can't blame Oscar for Rizen's condition, he certainly contributed towards it... I was also sorry that he was in this position, but I tried to forget all about it and keep going with my studies".

Glad to see there is some improvement, don't do anything to jeopardize or set yourself back.. While this was a short chapter there was just soooo much to take in...and I can't disagree with any of the comments... While the children can't be criminally charged due to age, their parents are culpable and they need to pay!!! Then the following has me stunned along with the admission of previous instances of bullying were/went ignored...I mean...WTF!!!! “What the fuck was the playground monitor doing?” Diego demanded. “We're still reviewing the camera footage, Mr. Padilla, but from the looks of things, she was on her phone the entire time. The incident took place at the far end of the ball field, and her view was partially obscured by the playground equipment. At this point, she's not a person of interest.” Bryan needs to sit back and learn the lesson that vengeance is a dish best served cold, and can take many forms...

Amen brother, my sentiments exactly...we are getting to the point where our hapless adventurers exist simply for the purposes of seeing just how many impossible situations they can get themselves into and out of...it is kind of repetitive...at some point they have to take it to the bad guys responsible for the deaths of hundreds of billions...

@Anton_Clocheand @Summerabbacat I would suspect Phil has his finances well in order, the papers Phil had to sign were related to his care in the rehab facility. Any expenses and beyond that for his care must run thru his accountant. Case in point...When my father became incapacitated due to his dementia along with the need to administer medications, my health care proxy was no longer valid. In order to continue overseeing his care, I had to file what was called a Rogers Guardianship go to court to be able to do so. It was a very strict process in the fact I had to hire not only an attorney to represent me, but I also had to hire an attorney to represent my father. More to the point, I could have no contact with the attorney representing my father but turn over all financial records and an inventory of any appreciable assets. All expenses and assets concerning and belonging to my father were gone over with a fine-tooth comb, any future expenses were subject to the same scrutiny. While elder fraud happens in this day and age, the courts and legal system take a dim view when caught. What works for Phil is that someone else, his accountant, has a finger on what happens with his funds and assets on a daily basis. I have to believe any deviation or sudden change would be noticed and alarm bells rung.

I have to give kudos to Nona...to me was accepting for the most part, of Dan's relationship with Vaughn, which has to be light years in an attitude change from when she was but a younger...She can accept them living together, and I have to believe she quite can't shake the trope that children should be involved... To me she represents a see change in adjusting to the world that now exists...she's almost there...give her time...

Will Yidan work with Simon towards the destruction of Belothemid??? We've truly gone down the rabbit hole...

It is good to see that Phil's accounts haven't been messed with, it is comforting to know that he has an accountant looking after his assets!! Collin and Jason will be just fine if they simply talk to each other, not at each other... Another note is that Jason seems to think Phill may be back on his feet and moving around...this is great progress!!!

Not being allowed the slightest of mistakes, continuing to live at home is no longer possible. Our protagonist finds refuge with his uncle and thinks a fresh start is just what he needs. Little does he know the turn of events that rise up to challenge him and his core beliefs. Take the time to read the first chapter, like many others, you will find it nearly impossible to put down!!

How long will the idiots be incarcerated for??? Will Pete finally find a deserving boyfriend??? Will Uncle George (aka Dad) hook up with Officer Farley and play footsie under the sheets??? One avenue of concern is Pete's mother and her brothers, commonly known as the Lost tribe of the Neanderthals', reacting to the extensive publicity...are they in or out of the picture in the sequel...what fun it could be seeing them getting a just deserved comeuppance...
