Chapter 1 - Don't Look Back
drsawzall commented on Refugium's story chapter in Chapter 1 - Don't Look Back
Not only are they trapped in a destructive co-dependency, there's a third partner in this relationship...drugs...Yuri's passing off his overdose as an accident, makes one think there a re deeper issues/problems that are being glossed over... Time to give sobriety a chance folks... -
Well done, did not see that coming...I suppose there might have to warm socks for Adrien when they do cohabitate in the sack, and as my mother always said...a cold nose means a warm heart...tho I think she was referring to our dog...

I Want You, Humiliation, and a Sense of Normalcy
drsawzall commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in I Want You, Humiliation, and a Sense of Normalcy
My goodness…wonder what will become of Tony and isn’t the Principal a dickwad…next meeting with him needs to be recorded!,,, -
Well now...There's much to clean up after this mess...the 2 EMT's who were killed and the other badly wounded...Jeremy's memory is coming back and it will be interesting to see how all of this pans out!!

Something to ponder, who was the culprit who wanted Dowager Finley dead and how much will this set back Aaron 's plans...

Fleur needs to learn patience and I have to wonder who 'she' is.... "Hadrian, don’ you think it might be possible that, after all these years, all this suffering, she simply decides that the curse should finally end? That you've repented enough for the past?" he dared to ask. Sadness clouded Hadrian's face. "I don't think I deserve it myself, not today, not ever... So I doubt that she, in particular, would come to such an absurd conclusion."

Like every one else we’ve been waiting for this day…here’s hoping all goes to plan… Ok all you haters…the jury is out to lunch, no…dumbkoff, not the liquid kind…. Listen to me,” Caleb demanded. “You had no way of knowing. You did precisely what you should have done. The poison may have affected my decisions, but it was not the only reason. My head was fucked up for a long time. I won’t blame it solely on the mercury. I know better. There are so many things I could have done differently, but I’m done beating myself up over them. We need to move forward

An interesting chapter, where I used to live there was an Audubon Sanctuary on my street with 3 large ponds and several feeder streams. This was just under 30 miles from downtown Boston, they had to call in a beaver remediation expert as the impact the beavers were having was impacting not only the sanctuary bit one road going by it. By damming the stream they were impacting the safety of the road with the large volume of water behind the dam. Back home and living on the farm, the beavers created a large dam, flooding nearly 4 acres of lower, fields that were mostly swampy and wet for the most part of the year. It is interesting to see how the ecology of the area has changed. If I had to guess the beaver dam is nearly 100 feet in length!

I could not have said this any better, while never having owned a horse, or owned by a horse, I grew up with dogs who meant every bit as much and can understand the complex mix of feelings and emotions one feels when they lose such an important part of their lives...my heart goes out to you Gary. This was a seminal chapter, and a masterclass in pacing, tension, fear, and raw courage to do simply what needed to be done! I shuddered, winced, felt the scrapes, herculean effort, the abrasions and minor cuts, and the determination to do...for the one you love. Lots of directions this can go in, I have to believe Lucas will live, he's lucky there was an exit wound. The danger now is the possibility of infection. If Lucas came back from washing up down at the crick wearing his shirt, the bullet most than likely brought some fabric from the shirt, and we know it would not have been clean...I have to believe Lucas survives this due to the quick thinking on Jubal's part. How far is Sheriff Reid down the road, would he have heard the shots fired??? Once again, thanks for this chapter and my deepest condolences Gary on your loss....

I'm confused byTy, he appears to be like a will-o-wisp, his affections all over the place. After years of longing for Seth, he for the lack of better words, dumps him. Will he need a lock for his belt to protect the next good looking boy that catches his attention??? I give the boys credit for the yard and house work and lord-almighty...we finally see Seth's father. Why am I reminded of an old TV show...Instead of Lucy, transpose Jim...and boy does he have....

Which Jeremy Wakes up on Saturday?
drsawzall commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Which Jeremy Wakes up on Saturday?
Never a dull moment with Derek...what a mess we've got going on here... -
It is amazing to see how Toby is thriving n a loving, positive family setting. One that encourages personal growth. He is learning not to see the world as black and white, that it OK to be inquisitive. As equally important, Toby knows where home is!!! Time away from his incubator has given him the freedom to understand the difference between his parents and it is all to the good... As noted above, this chapter has some serious foreshadowing. I suspect some serious bumps in the road ahead, however...keeping track of the comments made by the incubator and the previous behavior of the Neanderthal she is sleeping with, will work in Brian and Toby's favor along with competent legal representation.

One of the constants in life is that nothing stays static, you can lead or follow, grow or stagnate... The following is so frigging true, specially when the chips are down and the odds look insurmountable...The old axiom applies hee...safety in numbers and never leave a brother/sister behind... What is the definition of insanity??? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.... Everyone turned when Rory said, “For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack.”

The Siege at Southport
drsawzall commented on TeamStilinski's story chapter in The Siege at Southport
It looked like the enemy was like a bad rash that just wouldn't go away...I fear that this is/was the first of many waves of assaults... Where is Simon??? He can't be dead... -
Ya know...you had me and the jury with the water under the bridge comment, such a beautiful metaphor... Then you had to describe Caleb's scent as leather and...coconuts....freaking uggg... Everyone knows how evil coconuts are, I mean ya caint' even go to a beach without smelling the slippy rascals...the jury might/may be deadlocked...mistrial anyone???? BTW, loved this chapter...

What a brilliant idea to have James write a book, with a renewed sense of purpose and a potential best seller!!
