This chapter was as good as all the others. The visit with Eustace was something both needed. I think the two boys will be spending more time with Eustace as their lives continue. I am so glad there is going to be more as there are more things that need clearing up. I would like to see this new Andy go back to Carlsberg and face down the people that harassed him. He is no longer that reclusive abused boy.

I am liking this story. Casey is troubled and I think some therapy, maybe family therapy, could help him cope with his anger. And I agree that Lane could be a big factor in getting through to Casey.

A wonderful story. I have enjoyed reading it and getting to know these people. I suspected the mother was dead and look forward to the questions XLEROC mentioned being resolved. Pretty sure Ray murdered his brother and I want to see the face on that witch from CPS when she finds out she can't get Andy under her control. Thank you for the story.

Sometimes I think "we need to talk" are the worst four words in the English language. I like the way the story started and I look forward to more.

I am so happy to see Andy taking charge of his own life. If he is planning emancipation - which I don't think he'd have a problem getting - I think the important adults in his life will accept it. He just needs to explain that he needed their support to help him get his life back together and to the point where he can now stand up for himself and that he will still need their support in some areas. In some societies, 17 is definitely considered old enough to have adult responsibilities, including working, marriage and children. I also loved Monica's comment about not studying biology.

Great chapter. It's great how well matched Aiden and Ethan are and really powerful, enough to deal with a bunch of clueless rogues, I believe.

Wonderful chapter. Like always, I can't wait for the next one. And I so want to see Andy meeting Nonna.

Any relationship has ups and downs, but this one has more. Rayn is showing such patience and Daniel is trying but they both need to learn sometimes you need a break. The menu was one such moment Daniel had handled the parking machine and was excited about the mall so it probably was not the best time to push the menu. They will both learn. I don't completely blame Sara. It's hard to simply let go of someone you've protected from the beginning. She means well, but it's time for her to let loose and let Daniel explore his world and even have her own life.

Greg was wrong for outing the others. He was caught with another student in the school shower and the other boy freaked. He caused his own problems. Zander is gay but has always behaved respectfully. I would suggest most of the others outed are in the same position. None deserved what Greg did. As for Zander, he again showed his maturity in how he handled it by calling his family. He should, however, have called his parents and Andy just to let them know what's going on. Otherwise, it was a great chapter and I look forward for more.

Love the story. I'm thinking since Ethan detected Darius wasn't human, he should be able to detect the Rogue's solaris. Now we just have to see what will happen with the Solaris. I love how the story is unfolding and look forward to more.

I agree with the others. Andy's life reminds me of the running. Mostly uphill fighting, but now he has more and more level and downhill sections where he can take it easy. His self esteem is improving and I love how he dealt with Jack's doubts by proposing the deal. He's learning his own value. I am also getting really antsy about what's coming out of Carlsberg. Oh, and I forgot to mention last week that I really liked Andy taking Eustace as his middle name and I hope we see him again.

I like it so far. Look forward to more.

The new characters are great additions and I already like them. The rogue leader is making a wrong assumption about the ferals, but it is based on a long history of how ferals were handled. He has no way of knowing about Ethan and his abilities. His biggest fault is believing Michael. Just because Michael appears to be right about the borders why does he believe that someone so obviously unbalanced, bitter and exiled would know or be told everything? Just sending in ferals isn't enough and I can't wait for more. Love this story.

Great chapter. It's good that Andy is finally dealing with his past abuse. He needs to come to terms with it before he can really move forward. And the support he's getting from Zander and family is terrific and just as important. Andy will need the increased inner strength and support for whatever comes from Carlsberg. I'm extremely curious about what's to come from that whole situation and I've come up with about a dozen ways it could go. I'm driving myself a bit crazy!

Wonderful story. I'm so glad you gave us the epilogue but I am a little sad it's ended. The characters were very well done and the story flowed along at a natural pace. Thank you for sharing this story with us.

Good chapter. Looking forward to the next installment.

A great story. Such an emotional chapter, it had me crying. I look forward to more.

Wonderful chapter. Andy is such a sweet boy. I've noticed that being raised in adverse conditions affect people differently. Some are destroyed or warped by it and others just struggle through and with timely intervention come out the other side stronger. We all can see which Andy is. I liked Dr. O'Shea and think she seemed the perfect therapist for Andy. She started slow and let him get used to her. I know future sessions will not all be easy for him, but it is what he needs. It was good to see he seemed to realize this and cooperate. It's good Andy has all the help he does because eventually the mess he left behind will need to be dealt with. I have also recently found myself wondering about Andy's mother and if she really left of her own accord. iI just can't conceive of a mother leaving her child with such a man. Ignore me. it's just my suspicious read-too-many-mysteries mind but I wanted to get it down in case something does happen.

Michael is completely insane. I am curious to see what happens as I can see things going a few ways. I am curious to see if Ethan is as strong a wolf as I think he will be. Great story.

Andy could definitely use some professional counseling. He is going to have a lot to deal with in the future and will need the help. I think the possibility should be mentioned to him so he can come to terms with it.

Aw, sweet, Loved the story, the town, the people. I wouldn't mind reading more about Ben and Will. Thank you and Happy New Year.

Interesting and engrossing. I look forward to watching Daniel as he grows, although it won't make his family happy. I also look forward to seeing how Rayn and Daniel's relationship continues. Not sure of what Daniel's problem is so I'm hoping that's one thing you clear up.

This was probably the best path for Andy and this story. He managed to stay under the radar but that couldn't continue forever. This way, he has people supporting him who will fight with and for him. I am curious now about what happened back in Carlsburg because I think that's where the story needs to head next. I'm curious too about the reaction when his story comes out.

Michael is definitely hanging around probably looking for an opportunity to kill Ethan. He might have hooked the tracker up to the car's electrical system if he can or he somehow found out how to rig the tracker itself. Glad to see Chris appears to be doing the right thing.

Chapter 53 Two Winning Hands
avidreadr commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 53 Two Winning Hands
Another great chapter. Nate and Bodie are really sweet together. It's good that they're trying to help Josh but I'm a little worried that he will get his hopes up of reconnecting someday with Nate. Oh, well. Time will tell It's also very satisfying to see the changes Mark has made. Good communication is definitely the key. Look forward to more,
