  1. Oh, right, I hadn't caught on to the two-week turn-around. At least you've got a taker on the #491 reprompt.
  2. James did actually do the #534 prompt. So did JAR of course, but he forgets to post the link.
  3. An hour early, but never mind. Tillykke med fødselsdagen ! Frantic waving of Danish birthday flags
  4. did someone tip off metajinx about this review? Or she might miss it...

    Chapter 9

For hede hule helvede ! Fandens. For pokker da osse. Pis og lort. For syv satan. There you go, lots of Danish swear words caused by Ezra going home, when he could have stayed safely with Josh and his Mum. I hope he'll survive till Monday, and I hope even more that Josh remembers who Luke is and tells his Mum.

    Chapter 1

I'm glad Dave is a decent guy, who understands the value of real companionship.
  7. Hmmm, I might. What do I get in return?

Oh Sasha, this chapter made me feel like Jian. First very happy about the shopping and the lunch and the snow fun in the park and how they connected so well. And then I felt like cursing and and kicking something (preferably Zeke's narrowminded selfish butt and Emmett's oblivious, loyal-to-a-fault backside) I cannot begin to tell you how upset I am with Emmett for being such a fool. If he was only huting himself I wouldn't care, but he's breaking our sweet tiger boy's heart. I hope he spends a long time making it up to poor Jian once he's managed to pull his head out of his arse and recognize real love. Aaaaarrgghhhhh And I bet you're pleased about having evoked all of the above.
  9. A very interesting discussion for someone like me who comes from the other end of the writing spectrum (my first writings were almost pure porn and writing for GA has forced me to develop other aspects). I shall have to consider carefully when and how to write sex scenes in future chapters.

    Chapter 18

Fantastic chapter Krista Well worth waiting for. I was pleased that Jackson got through the week at school without any mishap, and I think Luke was clever for keeping his distance. They have time to rebuild their friendship once Ally finds something else to focus on. At least some of his friends are still talking to him, and Connor was cool, having lunch with him, even if he did also get a date out of it. I was as pleased as Jackson that his Mom didn't have time to go to practice. I hope he remembers to tell her NO other parents were present, and he could even say Tony would disapprove. It might actually be true, lol. I'll give her credit for cooking healthy stuff and showing an interest in his life. The whole session at the swimming pool was awesome. Tony seemed more reasonable and he even started to call Jackson by his name! Of course it helped that his tough no-nonsense attitude was directed towards the absent cheater and his stupid henchmen. Well done, Coach. I like how Jackson stood up to them, for once his temper and top-dog background came in useful. The long session with Emily may have been frustrating, but it was an important lesson. He realised how much he had to learn and showed he was capable of being instructed and work hard. Emily seems a good coach and it was interesting how he observed she was a nice mix of her parents. The talk with Dae and Charlie was great. Jackson now knows he does have talent, since he managed to land a place at the regionals, in spite of his short-comings. He finally has someone to compare with, both as a swimmer and as a gay guy. I hope he'll decide to come out to Charlie and Dae soon, so he can mention Luke. He's absolutely right about both of them, but especially Luke, being able to benefit from seeing the example set by these young people - and in fact the coaches too. Full credit to Tony there for the casual attitude - and also for instructing Rick on how to work on stuff which helps Jackson without giving him more bad habits. I'm with Graeme on the holding on to delusional hope that Jackson's life will settle for a while. Or at least having him gain new friends and confidence to deal with the bad stuff.
  11. There were so many awesome scenes in this story. They still pop up in my head every so often. I need to read again - and leave some reviews. Great review, Puppilull

    Chapter 25

You made my fondest wish come true: Ross as a Leopard - so don't you let him be picked up in the rookie draft now. I liked how Alistair helped Ross every way he could, I know he says he's only doing his job, and having Ross successful is to his advantage also, but Alistair is a good guy and a great agent. We didn't get to see him with Warwick and Ross, but the substitute of Wu and Lauren was OK. Ty did go with Jim to Pride FM and he went on air! Ha, I was all stoked over my prediction being right, and then you didn't let us see what happened. But I was quite pleased to see another of my expectations come to fruition: the brat was furious about the Blues using Dad to get hold of him, and not even Jim telling him several times it was OK, mollified him completely. I can see Jim's point of view, but I'm also pleased the Blues feel they owe him a favor. Shane's suggestion was a good one, but I also wonder whether they might take Jim in the rookie draft. I can't decide whether it would be to Ross' advantage or not. It would certainly placate Ty. I'll be sad to see Deon and Ty leave the Leopards, but I hope we'll hear more of them and of Kevin, when you return to the Lilydale football club. After all, the Leopards is an extended family, and they'll also keep in touch with Neil - and with Dave, if he gets drafted. I think it's a great idea to have Ty staying with Paddy and I wouldn't be surprised it it became a permanent thing. Paddy will be a good substitute father, and maybe Ty can invite his mother to visit. Even if Jim does get drafted by the Blues, I can see him wanting to share with Tony, no matter what he said at the meeting. Oh and I agree with him about Ty not sharing with Alex, but that's also because I dislike the fool. The end of the chapter was great, Ollie's advice to Ross was spot on, both in the shower and as regards Warwick. I liked him shouting out the good news and everyone crowding in to congratulate Ross. He'll do well in the Leopards and I'm sure Pride FM will sponsor him too, or instead of Jim. They'll love having him dating one of their employees, lol. I'm sad to know there's only one chapter + epilogue left, I've enjoyed this story immensely. But I'm sure you'll return to the Leopards sooner or later and your fans will be here waiting.
  15. Poor St.John, so not what he needed right now, partly because of the trouble of going to court, but even more for the emotional stress of having to think about that douchebag again. He needs to tell Emma or some of the others to get support, I'm sure they know great lawyers. I'm hoping this will be a chance to confront Dom and tell him what a nasty parasitic fucker he was and having a court decision basically tell him the same. What a piece of shit - he walked out on his boyfriend and then realized how useful a provider he was. It's tough, this story, but I hope John will eventually get to a better place, emotionally and mentally.

    Flirt

Well, I guess Emmett's heart and body know what he needs, so they snuck up on his mind when it was defenseless during sleep and gave him a fucking huge hint. I can see them and going "Would'ya believe it, he ignored us! How much more obvious can it be? Dump the boyfriend and go have awesome mate sex with the tiger." Duh!
  17. I really want to say somethings nasty aboit those twins, but I'll be good. I can't believe Preston didn't cut the connection the moment they burst into his room, so he could trhow them out. He's far too nice to those pests. Never mind about those deleted messages and texts, Cory's oldest brother will show up in person soon and hug him to death. The fragile state of Cory is so obvious to his friends they don't even yell at him for disappearing, and Efrain is grateful to a cat. Lola might as well get used to those scary noises, although I think they would prefer for her to not to get so used to them that she jumps into the bed and stares at them while the fun is happening.
  18. Tillykke ! I've managed to stay here and read your stories, even though it can be tough to wait for the next chapter. Sorry about not doing so well on the reviewing lately.
  19. We're getting to see several people showing pack mentality and looking forward. Not only Kellar in relation to his foster-brother, but also Tobyn after Kellar gave him a small 'lecture' on prejudice. I fell over laughing at Tobyn calling a potentially future shifter a 'black sheep' but he was right about why Kellar would see and treat Warren as his brother. It's part of the shifter mentality to feel close to your pack brothers and sisters. I agree with my Swedish friend that Kellar needs to stop looking back at and talking about the awful person Warren was. He needed to discuss it with Tobyn, so he can help plan and evaluate Warren, but there should be no mention of it to Elinor or anyone else. Give Warren a fresh start, tell him no one else knows about his past and it's up to him to start over and look forward. Like Tobyn I have trust in Kellar making the right choice in giving Warren a second chance - and he didn't even hear the talk they had. Another person who has stopped looking back and has plunged right into the pack is Denver. Like Kellar I enjoyed seeing the man so happy and optimistic, teasing Elinor and telling her everything will be all right. I have the feeling that with his support Elinor will be able to shoulder the leadership responsibility on her own until Tobyn is ready to become Alpha. He has the right mentality for that in spite of telling Kellar that he comes first now, not the pack. Of course your earth mate comes first, but if he's working for the good of the pack too, all is perfect. Tobyn had a last look back on his old plans for his life with the question he asked his mom. She dealt with it perfectly, as we (and Kellar, lol) knew she would, but I can understand his need to hear it. I also liked to hear her say the whole pack was behind the new earth mates, but that may also be from fear of getting a visit and a talking to from the terrible trio of Sibyl, Elinor and Tilly. Anyway, Tobyn and Kellar are definitely looking forward to doing more joining...
  20. Riley's title fight was interesting, since I stayed away from his story for a long time, precisely due to the title. However, I'm glad I finally took the plunge, even if I did run away cursing at one point. But the need to know what happened pulled me back.

    Chapter 32

Not to worry, Caz, I loved this chapter. Oliver is so good for Silas, I just want to both of them.

    Chapter 24

The lunch date was messy but hot. It's good to know their relationship has progressed this far in trust and love. Liam and Alek are in such heart-reakng circumstances. Even if Liam want to wait, there is a limit to how much awfulness he'll be able to bear for Alek's sake. What happens if they are found out before the six months are gone? Then Alek may have hurt Liam for no gain at all. I would suggest Alek tell his father that he has customers who are gay or gay-friendly and they take offense and may remove their business, if they hear him say these things. Plus he should lok for alternate financing options and tell his father not to come around, because he wants to prove he can make it on his own. At least then he can have Liam visiting without ignoring him. the 'dirty little secret' issue really is a deal-breaker. Still enjoying the story immensely. Oh, and this review pushed me into second place on the prolific reviewers list.
  23. The dialogue in this story is some of the best and funniest I've ever read. And there were so many delightful expressions / sentences. After every chapter I looked forward to find out whiche one Graeme chose as his favorite.

    Snow

It's interesting how Emmett remarks on Huan understanding him a lot better than expected, but not seeing how this applies to Zeke too. Huan clearly implies they are not a good match, and we can all see it as well. But as my Swedish friends says, nothing wrong with casual, and I noticed the L word is very conspicuous in it's absence. Zeke is a self-centered guy, but otherwise OK, and I have the feeling he'll be more annoyed than heart-broken when Emmett wants to end their relationship.
