The two best ones from Denmark: In 1976 there was an article in a local paper saying the factory which made Akvavit (Danish snaps) by mistake had made a batch with too high alcohol percentage. Because they couldn't sell it, they would give it away if people turned up the day after bringing their own containers. Lots of people did. In 1983 the Danish TV channel DR (only one at the time) announced on its main news that one of the Danish chocolate companies had decided to make Easter eggs with a small live chicken inside. They had interviews and showed one-day-old chicks sitting in the lower half of an egg. The production would be EU funded. I can recall my mother saying the day after that she had watched it with a couple of other family members. They all believed it and talked about the crazy things people would do to make money. In fact, a lot of people phoned DR (enough to overload their telephone switchboard) and complained about the cruelty to the poor chickens being stuck inside the egg without food or water. One of the first 'shitstorms' in Danish media history. The spaghetti story inspired this SATW comic. http://satwcomic.com/real-true-news

Chapter 8 For richer, for poorer
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 8 For richer, for poorer
Thanks, Def. Michael hasn't gotten his room yet, but the plans are made. I promise he won't hold things up for much longer though. I'm glad you saw Patrick coming clean about his money as putting his family first. I tried to imagine how I would feel about my boyfriend hiding / teling something like that and worked out Peter's response. This made me decide they would be better of knowing asap. -
It remains to be seen whether Lord Ashton is clever enough to understand the significance of Kye not speaking until they were alone. Plus we don't know whether he heard that whispered sentence. I'm betting Donnelly will be present when Kye wakes up, and he'll refuse to speak again. Hopefully, this will give Lord Ashton the final clue, unless he's dimmer than I think.

I find it sad that Toph insists on saying farewell to his friends when they have outlived their usefulness. And he relies too much on his color perception if he lets the lack of it determine he has no possible future with Niles. Ian is not boyfriend potential, he is a fellow artist and autist (probably Asperger). I have the feeling that writing his stroy will enable Toph to see some important truths about himself. It was interesting that Ian knew the bird lady - at least by name. I do not trust Gary yet, but I think the level of friendship they have now, is OK. Hopefully, the man is clever enough not to betray Toph again.

Black Widow (Story Discussion)
Timothy M. replied to Mark Arbour's topic in Mark Arbour Fan Club's Topics
Would someone please enlighten the clueless European: What is the deal with Southwest Airlines and the big “C” on JJ's ticket? -
So when are Indie and Preston gonna own up to the fact that they are dating and not just booty calls? And when do we get to see Preston take a shot at topping Indie - I bet he would do it for the Iceman in spite of telling Cory he's a total bottom. I can relate to Indie being pissed off at the pity parties and Laurel thinking she needed to hide her engagement, no wonder he loved Preston's gift-giving and the rabid terrier approach.

Chapter 8 For richer, for poorer

Thank you for the nice words, Roland, I'm delighted you find the allegory aspect a positive part of the story. I enjoy writing them, but always worry about my readers finding them contrived. I like you suggestions for other other-wordly influences. -

Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 8 For richer, for poorer
Thanks, Caz, I'm glad you liked the different scenes making up this chapter. They were meant to tie up some loose ends and of course get two of the major 'confessions' done. lol, the almost shower and earlier we had the almost strip tease, what will be next? -
Chapter 8 For richer, for poorer

Thanks, dragon, I'm thrilled you liked the dialogue, it was always one of my weak points. Yeah, it's easy to forget the shortness of time passed, when the posting of the story happens only once a week. And of course the intense connection they have makes time stretch too. Or you could say they squeezed the courtship of several months into a few days. -

Thanks Drew, I'm pleased someone finally mentioned the talk and the imp/angel chorus. As to who has corrupted who you may get an answer in a separate story. You're right about the way Peter and Patrick interacts. They formed a deep connection during that first weekend and acknowledging their love have made them soulmates. THey still have things to discover about each other, but at least two of the 'big' ones are dealt with. Glad Patrick makes your heart melt, I think he does the same to a certain Viking. -

Thanks Gary, I'm happy this chapter gave you good feelings. You've managed to point out some important aspects. Good communication, the banishment of loneliness and some tension relief. Oh and of course the fact Michael is in their thoughts and hearts when thinking of the future. -
Chapter 6 Sharing bed and breakfast
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 6 Sharing bed and breakfast
Thank you my dear friend. I love when I make you 'a goner' about romance with my writing, because you've done the same to me repeatedly. There is a good reason this story is dedicated to you and Gary. You're like the romantic lodestones of GA. Yes, the patron saint is St. Valentine of course, who better for a man like Patrick. His birthday is November 14th btw. -
I'm sure Jackson's friends miss him, but why should they sit around at home just because he's grounded? Of course telling him the party was awesome is rubbing salt in his wound, but hey they are shallow high school kids just like he is. And no wonder since his parents doesn't really seem interested in him or his emotional needs. His parents hit a new low with me - they've been paying money to the church school to keep it going, thereby aiding and abetting Luke's parents in keeping him trapped in their narrow-minded ways. More than ever I hope Jackson will decide that coming ouy and having Luke as his boyfriend will be the best way to get back at them all. I loved the joke he made about his mom finding a guy in his bed.

Chapter 8 For richer, for poorer
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 8 For richer, for poorer
Thanks, Tim. Somehow Patrick doesn't mind his money now he has a family to spend it with / on. He knows honesty is the best way, but of course there's more to tell. LOL, I think Peter and Patrick are looking forward to Michael having his own room, but he'll have priority over intimacy for a while yet. -
Chapter 8 For richer, for poorer
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 8 For richer, for poorer
Thanks, LL, I glad you agree wih Peter about better safe than sorry. Their intimate moment may not have been what Patrick planned but at least they both enjoyed it. Telling Peter about the money was a big deal for Parick, mainly because it's tied up with his parents' death and being estranged from the rest of his family. Peter is a sensible guy, so he'll take it in his stride and focus on the positive aspect and on their love. -

Thanks, Terry, I'm glad you thought my writng has improved even if I'm slightly upset at the thought you've found it difficult to work out who spoke when before. Please send me a PM with examples so I can edit earlier chapters. -

Thanks, dugh - for the first review and the kind words. I don't want to expand the story with too many characters. but on the other hand I think we need to know something about their families and background. I'm glad you liked this in particular. -
Chapter 1 Patrick’s Personal Card
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 1 Patrick’s Personal Card
Hi Brian, I can't believe I missed the review from you. I'm delighted you gave this stoty a chance and I hope you did get drawn to the next chapter. Thanks for the nice words about the shop and Patrick's sensitivity. It won't get as bad as Stephen King, though. I love the way you see Patrick, he does indeed do his best to accept his fate. Thanks again, buddy. -
When they arrived at the house, Peter carried Michael directly upstairs to get him ready for bed. Patrick helped Grethe with her coat, and after she had used the downstairs bathroom, she asked him to show her around the house. “I saw it earlier today, of course, but it’s better with the owner’s first-hand knowledge,” she explained. “Michael was most enthusiastic about showing me the large TV and his favourite chair.” They both chuckled, and Patrick opened the door to the guest room whe

Hmm, Ross is a lot worse off mentally than I thought if he's so scared he can't even be around gay guys. And Jim, Ty and Karen should be the first to think of a possible alternative reason for Ross running away than him being homophobic, since they witnessed Dave's breakdown. I was intrigued by Kevin's reaction to getting Warwick's contact details. Or am I seeing ghosts? I mean I can see him being scared deep into the closet by Deon's behavior before he forgave his dad. Or I gues Kevin could be bi? LOL, you're going to have everyone dance around about drafting Ty, including the brat pretending not to be interested. It's going to be frustraing and funny to follow.

Out of the Frying Pan and into the Fire
Timothy M. commented on Riley Jericho's story chapter in Out of the Frying Pan and into the Fire
Tha was a relief, and I guess Simon going down to see Tobias may be a good idea for both of them, although I'm a bit worried about what will happen when they are face to face. Sparks may fly - is that what you're trying to hint with the chapter title? But I believe the truth needs to come out, even though the time and place is wrong. I shall hope Simon will simply tell Toby he is pleased that he survived the fire. If Toby tries to guilt Si into forgiving him, I sincerely hope Si will tell him to fuck off. Even if both their moms are present. And if Toby set the fire to kill himself, I will be extremely but I think the boy is too egocentric and cowardly to do that - or perhaps he's exactly selfish enough to pull such a stunt to get back at Si. -
Min kære ven, so wonderful to have you and this delightful story back. I'm almost ashamed to admit I've never seen the Show and had to read up on it after the previous chapter. But at least I understood most of the references in here. It made me feel like I was Miles, which was actually nice. I certainly wouldn't mind a nice blond guy like Jay next to me, lol. The two older boys are becoming good friends and I'm glad to see they're not putting any pressure on J&M, but simply let them see the love they have for each other. I worry about Miles having a bad experience with pot, so I hope they stay away from it. The shopping expedition has hilarious and I'm sure we're all dying to know what Benny bought for Calvin. I loved that Denny trust Calvin enough to invite him for a sleep-over. for this wonderful chapter, and I'm grateful to your cousin, Gary and LL for making it possible.

Finally, Kye makes a good choice, even if he's not really aware of it. Staying in the fruit orchard is a lot more clever than walking to where his old Master's man is probably waiting for him. I hope he can have a coupe of relaxing days, but unfortunately Charlie (Lee) may come looking for him. Or even worse Liam will find him. Of course we can always hope for Donnelly or Lord Ashton himself, particularly if they arrive when he is taking a swin. I liked the changes you made to the previous chapters.

I was so relieved the Senator was not involved in the attack on Merrick. Maser Luda would never have gotten over such a betrayal. I hope Elsan will wake up and be OK. Now to the imporant part. Jenson and Merrick finally gave in to the love and lust which has consumed them for so long. And not only did they have sex - very HOT sex - but Jenson bit Merrick.

Fighting Words and the Epilogue
Timothy M. commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in Fighting Words and the Epilogue
Ahh, what a relief. I'm glad the drama with Sean was realistic and the decision of the courts rational in both cases. I can't help hoping Sean has a hard time in prison, but knowing the man he will be a top dog soon enough. But his reputation will be gone and hopefully being sent back to Ireland will help too. I'm going to imagine lots of 'bad press' - for once the gossip media can be useful. Tait still has work to do, and that's believable too, but he has Phill by his side. I'm going to trust they will be OK. They will never take their love and their life together for granted, but I think their relationship will last forever.
