I think it's part of a general GA story list glitch. If you go to Favorite stories and select various criteria (eg Adult, Complete, Romance) you get a list with the stories fufilling those criteria. However, as soon as you try to go to page 2 of this list, it reverts to the full story list.

I'm glad you liked their love-making including the aftermath. Thanks for saying the need to hold on is natural, I hadn't thought about it like that, but it's a clever observation. Hmmm, so after ranting about Audra's lover not respecting her skills and competance just because she's a woman, I now have to rant about Jenson not respecting Merrick's abilities. Is it the pain and exhaustions which makes him revert to thinking of Merrick as a kid or youth? He needs to understand Merrick needs his recognition as well as his love. But Jenson wasn't being reckless when he got attacked. He was in the middle of the camp and alert, already sensing something was wrong. So perhaps I should give him some credit, and he does know Merrick quite well. Jenson probably worries that his lover will be so hell-bent on finding and punishing the ones responsible for the flauros that he'll be reckless. Well, let's hope Landin and Kalen will keep their boss grounded. By the way, I look forward to finding out if those two Landin and Tei Barnaby are in a relationship now. edited as I had forgotten it wasn't Kalen who was interested in Landin.

Ah, so that answered my question about the blood transfusion. I know I've read this chapter before, but it had slipped my mind. I agree with Puppi, Merrick did well on devising a solution to get Jenson to the ship. The curt and clever nurse made me laugh, so a nice tension-relieving moment in the middle of all the scary and angry stuff. Interesting that both fathers are arriving; to me that says the matter of the Alectarians' betrayal or incompetance will be taken to the next level. Not a moment too soon.

I think one of the best parts of this chapter was seeing Jenson and Audra gently teasing each other about their romances. They are clearly happy for their sibling's luck in finding love. It reminds me of seeing them together in the beginning of the story, before we really knew them. Of course, Merrick was delightfully hot with his own teasing and pleasuring Jenson, I'm not surprised the vampire wants to bite him all the time. And finally the cliffie How the fuck did that flauros avoid the drones?? Were they all pulled away by the other flauros (flauri? - what is the plural of flauros) ? How do you give a vampire a blood transfusion? let him bite a bloodbag? Can any vampire give blood to another or do they have blood types same as normal humans?

Thanks, tim. I love the way you get Chris totally. He was a sort of dark horse at the beginning, but as I'm writing the story he's become more and more important, and I've come to like him a lot. I'm delighted when someone mentions him particularly. And you're right, he's definitely loving and caring. I know, I know, I'll do my best to get writing on the next chapter.

Well, finally Mark has a bit of luck. But with the way things have gone for him so far, I'm sitting here waiting for the other shoe to drop and for Carl to fuck up Mark's life once more. Could you please, please, give us a few chapters of Mark and Dan having a good relationship? I don't think I can bear it, if this doesn't work out.

I think I can say this without doing a spoiler: I have to admit I still think Matthew should have told his mother to leave. It would have been easier to catch up with her later, and she didn't deserve to be there.
