  1. So what do you think of Colt's behavior now, Puppi? I feel so sorry for Prime.
  2. So where are the Blues right now in the list? How many teams get to pick before them? And Ty has to be on the draft list, right? How is that list made ? Once they get through the whole list of teams, do they then start at the bottom again, and proceed the same way ?

    Chapter 49

Ohhh, lots of football stuff, I like it. Damn shame about the loss, but I guess you're setting us up for a nailbiting final game of the regular season. That's OK with me, as long as the Leopards get into the finals. Perhaps a few of the other players need to start on the endurance improvement. So many interesting developments, I'm glad Dave has been invited together with Deon, but it's gonna be even harder on Ty. Interesting that the two recruiters considered the brat the best player of the game, the Blues must be keeping their fingers crossed that no one else cottons on to Ty. I hope they'll approach him, before he gets too upset about being ignored. A bit sad about Jim, but he's working hard and I feel there's some genuine interest in him, not only because he's gay, so I hope he gets drafted too. The part about Josiah was a nice touch. I liked the talk between Deon and Clarissa, friends first will work well for them. And all their friends will be happy to see they are dating. Somehow I think Deon's agent will be pleased too. Now all we need is for Paul to shape up and ask Deon's sister out, lol.
  4. don't you mean you've been Wetting more soldiers for him ?

    Chapter 3

Ohh, I love it when Will makes plans to get back at Brad. The best thing is Brad may see him spend millions, he'll rant and rave and then be exposed at an utter fool, when most of Will's spending turns out to be quite sensible. But of course I want to see Will do some fun shopping too,
  6. Og nu til noget helt andet... It suddenly occured to me that Colt and his Inner Circle have something important in common (apart from being gay). They have all been rejected by their Family/Pack or felt unaccepted and uncomfortable with their situation. Even Warren who had a place in the Inner Circle of his old pack felt (and was) marginalized and unhappy. Colt seems to think he's the only one who (needs to) feel inadequate and unlovable, but in fact all of them have major issues about self-esteem and believing anyone would want them. So I'm not surprised his wolves are less than happy about Colt's self-pity party.
  7. For once I have no suggestions about what tomorrow's chapter might be about. The Rod induced crisis between Neil and Liam has been resolved, and the birthday party went well. Deon is getting attention and there's hope in relation to Clarissa. Roger seems to be doing well, and we can look forward to the next match with the Leopards at full strength, hopefully working their way back to fourth place. No drama relating to Dave (fingers crossed), nothing from Ty's dad, and Jim seems to be getting more comfortable with his status as the gay footballer. Only cloud on the horizon is Neil discovering his dad has lost his job, but even that might be resolved eventually. It's worrisome, because this lull in the drama would be about the time Graeme drops a major surprise on his readers.
  8. I should have played those songs while writing my rant review

    Hard Times

I'm still trying to work out who Benny is asking the question of, but it must be Greg right ? Busyed is so right, and I felt sorry for Miles who asked an innocent and friendly question and was naturally taken aback at the reaction. I'm glad Denny worked things out in his head and took care of Greg after their little meltdown. You really do write teen boy drama well, CG.

    Chapter 18

Yes, I'm caught up and so is the story (in relation to the short version). Now don't you dare end it too soon. I want to know all about Jonas' mysterious stranger with the blue and green eyes. Particularly after Opie's hint of Jonah living with his man's family. Also I want to know what happens if the other romances are not compatible, will Jonah see the visitors leave as they arrived?

    Chapter 17

So I wonder who ordered the cup? Maybe a fortune teller, since it probably only works once per person. A boy with wings, hmm sounds interesting. You really have to write about some of the nicer (male) visitors, please. And this is only the beginning

    Bad Mood

LOL, they were both in a foul mood, but a hot hunk cured them. When I read this line 'If you’d be so kind to open the trailer, I’d like to take a quick look at your cargo.' my dirty mind immediately translated it into If you’d be so kind to open your trousers, I’d like to take a quick look at your package. Followed by a long lick and a closer investigation.

    Bubble Butt

I get this image in my head of you playing with action figures in ways the toy makers did not anticipate. Wouldn't mind being the filling in that dessert, Yum.

    Bull Riding

Talk about heavy innuendo, LOL. I get the feeling Mr Hunky Police Officer is versatile, my favorite kind of Man.

    Big Hands

Good idea to put them all together, Carlos. Gives me a chance to review more than the first one. Here we go: Ohh, I wouldn't mind getting frisked like that. I have a weakness for policemen - and policewomen in uniform. At least he didn't say 'is that a gun or...' How about some pictures for me to drool over?

    Chapter 16

LOL Jonas laid-back attitude on filling out the last page comes back to bite him in the ass - yet I believe he'll be better off than if he'd taken it seriously. His instincts are often better than his brain in these matters. And I loved Opie's reaction to Jonah's revelation of his bastard of a father. Why do I have the feeling various misfortunes are going to plague Mr Marks from now on.

    Chapter 15

Well, even if Jen and her family do take advantage of Jonas' good nature they also appreciate him and love him. Somehow I have the feeling Opie does too, he's a better father to Jonas than the bastard who threw him out. So which story did the female ogre / troll come from ?

    Chapter 14

So Jonah's talent is the ability to see through glamours and an affinity for the color blue, lol. He needs to go to the library and get some fantasy books and read up on the people he might meet. Or perhaps not, maybe he'll be less overwhelmed if he has no clue who they are. At the end of the story, you'll have to make a list of those we didn't recognize. Oh and can we make suggestions on who we'd like to meet ? Might be useful for prompt chapters to revisit Jonah after you've finished the main story.

    Chapter 13

Wow Fire doesn't beat about the bush, does she? And I thinks she right, Deep down Jonah knew about Opie and he loves the idea of magic and dragons. He just has to let go of his inhibitions and embrace the blue World.

    Chapter 12

So I'm back. Fire has me laughing every time. Reminds me a bit of the talking sword in the Valdemar books. Wonder if that's why the customer wanted one (if it's a woman who ordered it). What did Jonah do with the chocolate pudding? Or is he having it for dessert later?
  21. or perhaps she just naturally opposes her mom's opinion
  22. non-violent perhaps, but still hurtful. I'm still not over Brian
  23. The shopping trip was a good break, AC, but I still want to know which Shakespeare play the gift depicts. And there was a reminder of another of the 'sore' spots of this story. It almost got buried under all the Family drama in the Thanksgiving chapter, but Linc and Dawn's chat brought it back up: The digusting media interest in 'the Leukemia Kid'. To me it's one of the important themes of the story and you portray it so well. We can see the TV scenes and imagine evey prying camera and nosy comment, even when you only hint at them. The whole tribute-to-Jack thing left outside his house is another of those over-the-top reactions, at least as it pertains to strangers. Yet on the other hand I can see Christine's point. Many of the messages were probably left with the best of intentions (I cannot now recall who started the whole thing), so it also seems callous to throw it all away. I wish I could believe her intentions are good, in that she'll read them all, and pass on those which are from friends or have messages which could cheer her mother up.
  24. I'm already in hiding, for failing to provide JAR with Rob treats, so there's no way I'm gonna make things worse by giving out any spoilers. But since you've all survived the JAR-rollercoaster so far, you'll probably be OK.
  25. and you haven't even read the next three chapters...
