    I loved the way the pure-hearted zeal of Shaun in gaining his prize made an impact on both teachers and students. I'm sure Mr Katz will be an even better instructor in the future, now that he resisted the nagging of the females, and did what his own heart told him was right. Ms Landau will be more content now she has seen the worth of a devoted male, and if she ends up getting engaged to him, maybe she'll stop sniping at her younger colleague. I'm sure Ms Goodman will be genuinely pleased for her. Poor Sister Perpetua, but at least her devotion to God made a nice person with kindness to the children in her care and other people around her. Shaun's purpose of surprising his mom with a special Easter egg was delightful, and I'm glad his dad could see the merit and help him achieve it. A perfect holiday treat for us too.

    Lots of interesting information in this chapter. They are slowly working their way towards the truth and possible solutions. Interesting that Ran doesn't think of Kieran possibly being son of a realm lord or the high king. Perhaps the existence of the prince has been kept secret ? Love the meaning of Widderkin, and it was no surprise to me they're all gay or that this is part of why they feel comfortable together.

    @ColumbusGuy LOL, I guess you're right, but at least Ariel did keep the speech and the ceremony short. I don't think Theo wants to wear a suit unless he has to. What do you say, @aditus ?

    Thank you - and I'm glad you found it, since I've heard some readers didn't get a notification of it posting. Yeah, Theo and Sablo will keep enjoying their two days off, but then it's back to work.

    hangs head in shame I know, and I do feel guilty, but at least I am writing again - which at some point last year didn't seem likely at all. But I can still maintain Gary shouldn't feel terribly guilty over having just ONE Incomplete story, even if it is his main one.

    But...but if you hadn't, we wouldn't have had Morningstar or Finding Refuge or all your other wonderful stories. Even though we miss the CotT story, the long hiatus didn't happen because you stopped writing altogether. Don't feel guilty, you'll get back to them sooner or later.

    It's always fun to write them too. I thought Imp was being his usual obnoxious self. Azrael refused to say anything for the audience to hear, but insisted on presenting the pendant half of the award. That's why Ariel kept talking and held the certificate. Also, I think he likes to hear himself talk.

    Very true, since the DDD story was started with a first line prompt, which I've also used for one of my firefighter stories. My other DDD (Danish Drool Diverter) is still working perfectly. But I have to wipe it regularly with all the nice pics Gary keeps finding.
