The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry... (Robert Burns) But let's hope Corbin can stay hidden in plain sight.

Let's hope it's a friendly local guy who's found him, and not whoever he wants to avoid.

I get the same problem you describe with your profile and now also with Thorn's profile, but not Caz. Strange. I'm on a laptop with Google Chrome. Headstall and Puppilull also has the flash and then blue background, contrary to my earlier experience.

Diego finished putting his room in order and checking to make sure Sablo’s bags were ready for him to collect. His brother had a tendency to leave stuff lying around, and he’d been in a hurry to get ready for his confrontation with Theo. Thank Heavens Rahmiel had been able to confirm his friend was present at Cupid Central, although it had taken him awhile to cajole the cupid to talk to him, let alone admit he knew where Theo was. Diego finally resorted to a spot of bribery, and he had the feeli

Both profiles seem OK now - there is a short flash of blue background and then the cover flashes in. So the opposite of what you're seeing. It also happens with other authors, eg Headstall and Puppilull.

remember no politics outside the Pit. But it seems Barr is biased and incompetent rather than criminal - but I admit this is my general opinion about politicians.

interview Ask an Author 2.0 #19
Timothy M. commented on Carlos Hazday's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I need to read Guarded and Silverwolf. Somehow I missed out on those stories. Interesting point about considering the roles of characters. I'm not that organized. -
I agree. @clochette you have to recharge your batteries or you will burn out. At least your dad now knows when your mum needs to be at the hospital, and hopefully they'll be able to help her. Enjoy your week at home (in spite of exams) and relax doing things you like. Then you'll be able to visit your parents with new energy, and surely that's better for everyone.

csr discussion April CSR Discussion Day: The Assassin by Lilansui
Timothy M. commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I liked the story too, and it was really interesting to hear all the thoughts you've had about the context and the characters. Kian was so unsentimental and logical and focused, just the way an assassin should be, and he used his knowledge and his talents to win over Daven, protect him, and fight for a life with him. Daven dealt fairly well with the challenges and issues after his initial shock. -
Great chapter - I laughed when I got to the ring part, but I thought it was cool to have Cassie buy them. So glad she quit her job and will be returning to Lex's new home time. Fingers crossed it will be hers too. Congrats on the job, I hope it will be everything you wanted.

Prompt 712 What can I tell him?
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 712 What can I tell him?
Thanks, Gary. I thought it would be nice for Nelson and Eric to see a couple who had overcome some serious obstacles to be together. They'll be less likely to chafe at any restriction imposed on them, when they think about how relaxed their parents truly are. Trusting them to have sleep-overs right from the start is quite advanced parenting, isn't it ? I'm glad to see Rob still has his fan club. -
Prompt 619 I can’t believe I’m doing this.
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 619 I can’t believe I’m doing this.
Thanks, Gary. You're right about Rob being like his dad - and maybe Eric is more like his mom ? We have a saying in Danish: Æblet falder ikke langt fra stammen. It literally means The apple drops close to the tree (stem). But the figurative meaning is offspring resemble their parents. More Rob to come soon... -
I don't think they did. Freddy wanted to get away, and Gabe wanted to talk to Sasha, so it suited him fine to send Freddy out to find Richie. If Gabe was in any way a proper friend with a clue, he would have told Sasha he had guests, and he'd call her back tomorrow - or failing that he would have stayed away from the tree house till the two guys came back in. Gabe is selfish and smug, and if Richie wasn't so desperate to keep his only friend, he'd call him on it. Freddy had no right or reason to tell Richie his father loves him. I bet he never heard Richard say that, and no normal teen would be able to come to this conclusion on his own. This is just the author channeling his superior knowledge through Freddy in order to get to Richie. It won't work with me, since the abusive, manipulative, egoistic bastard hasn't shown any love or consideration (recently) by actions or explanations.

Don't worry, @Rambling Robin is still around, but sometimes with long gaps of time between visits. She loves getting comments, so I'm sure you'll get replies.
-
For a while I thought Freddy was a possible ally for Richie against the abusive, manipulative, egoistic bastard but apparently not. Gabe is still an idiot and useless as a friend.

Thank you - I'm sure @aditus will be pleased you liked it.

He, he, yes they are. And hot too I agree about the tattoo as well, it was a bit of a risk.

Prompt 328 You expect me to believe that? (II)

LOL, he can't be perfect all the time, or it would get boring. Although, Team Rob may not agree with him not being perfect. Don't forget to visit the story discussion topic for your Team Rob T-shirt. -
Prompt 323 Can I talk to you? (II)
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 323 Can I talk to you? (II)
LOL, I guess you have to see it from the outside to appreciate Rob. I'm an Eric type of person, and a brother like Rob would drive me crazy. But he'd probably still be good for me. However, I don't think Eric looks down on Rob, he just tries not the join the Rob fan club. It's probably good for Rob to not have everyone admire him openly. -
Actually, you're right on time, 'cause I'm on my way to bed.

Prompt 344 Why didn’t you just tell me that?
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 344 Why didn’t you just tell me that?
Aaww, thanks ! Such a wonderful compliment - it's fun to use @comicfan's first line prompts. I when new readers go on a binge and leaves likes and comments. I never thought I would write a high school story, but somehow this ended up that way. Luckily my editor @AC Benus helps me out with all those US details I have no clue about. -
And he's cold, too. I volunteer to warm him up.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case, but also that the fact it was happening on and off might be of interest. btw it's only reactions to (new?) chapters which are doubled, not reactions to chapter comments or forum posts.
