I'll forgive you for the short chapter, since you're posting again. I feel like I missed something, though. At the end of the last chapter, Jacob walks in on Graeme and Liam, Liam freaks out and shoves Graeme away and then flees the room. Graeme is injured when Liam shoves him away, but I didn't get the sense of any abuse or anything untoward happening, which Jacob refers to in this chapter. I'm really interested in learning more about Graeme and his relationship with Liam, and if something will eventually develop between Graeme and Jacob.

I look forward to reading the author interviews at the end of every month. It's nice to see the thought processes of other authors and how they compare to my own. Questions for Remijay: Since this story was written over the span of a few years, did you find it difficult to maintain the same style and tone throughout the story? Do you feel your writing has evolved since you started it?

Thank you, Myr, for creating the special place GA has become, and to all who contribute to its daily operation. What does GA mean to me? GA has profoundly changed my life. It's a place I can go without fear of judgment--a supportive community that's here during good and bad times. I've always enjoyed writing, and dabbled a bit when I was younger, but never really did so seriously. Grad school sucked creative writing right out of me, but GA inspired me to pick up a pen again and opened the floodgates. I've met some amazing people through GA that I otherwise never would have encountered-- @Cole Matthews @Parker Owens @Lisa @Dabeagle @Defiance19 @comicfan and there are many others who are just as special, even though it's unlikely we'll ever have the chance to meet. @aditus, I wish Germany was a lot closer to the US So here's to another 16 years 🍷 and 16 after that 🍷 and 16 after that... 🍷

GA doesn't arbitrarily promote authors to Signature. We all have different styles, just as readers prefer to read certain genres or tropes. Don't let one negative comment stop you from writing. I think your quote just about covers it.

Great installment, Carlos. It's nice to see some 'rookies' featured, as well as reading the responses from promoted authors. I'm glad to hear @lmoline has more poetry in the works. I've enjoyed reading what she's posted so far.

Dabeagle is posting the second book under the first book. So book 2 starts at Chapter 9 of "Things We Lost", which is why it's listed as part of the original in the Wrap Up.

You sure know how to pack a lot of action into such a short piece. As someone who hates water and is very claustrophobic, you had me cringing the whole time. I hope the protagonist makes it.

These are beautiful, Parker. A perfect tribute to the end of summer. I can picture them all clearly. I particularly like "avian rage" and "piled high with neck craned". Well done, as always
