I love this series. I have a boxed set, but haven't read it in ages. I think I've read "The Horse and His Boy" the most because I was horse-obsessed as a kid (and as an adult too... lol).

I've found a headline and have an idea for a response. Now to find time to actually write it...

I work full time and am busy with hobbies, travel, and volunteer work. I do a lot of my writing at work. I go in early every morning and that is my time to eat breakfast, catch up on emails, and do some writing. I also try to write a little bit during my lunch break. I use the drive to and from work to think about story ideas and problem solve areas of current projects that figuring out. If I have the time and energy during the week, I may do some writing in the evening. Or on weekends, depending on my plans.

This story was inspired by our conversations. I'm glad it rang true to you. Asexuals need more representation. Maybe I'll write more about Jason and Ollie at some point. Thank you so much for reading and your kind words

You can't go wrong with any of DomLuka's stories. Circumnavigation is a long read, but worth it, as are all of C James' stories. There's too many to list all of them, but Cia, CassieQ, Cole Matthews, Aditus, Parker Owens all have some of my site favorites. AC Benus' Bound and Bound - the Curse and the Captives is one of my all-time site favorites. That should keep you busy for a while. lol

If the author wrote a prologue, I would assume it's because it's necessary for the story. I can't imagine why someone would skip reading it.

Yes, that would probably be a good idea. There are a lot of red flags here, and they will need to learn how to deal with their issues in an appropriate way when problems arise.

You've captured the essence of mingling memories with moving on perfectly. When I was much younger, I remember being horrified when my grandmother wanted us to let her know what pieces of furniture or other belongings of hers we wanted when she passed. I couldn't bring myself to think of losing her. After giving it thought... I told her I wanted my great grandpa's desk. I have such fond memories of pulling out bird books from it and guessing them based on descriptions my grandpa gave. The desk has many nooks and drawers and I've always loved it. It now sits in my den with a book owned by great-grandpa and my grandma's journal. It also has a picture of my great grandpa in a nice suit, sitting at the desk piled high with books and papers. He was a school teacher. Thank you for the trip down memory lane.

Thank you @Cia I had checked my Junk Folder before posting and it wasn't there. The newsletter option you outlined above was already checked. I guess I'll chalk it up to a cyberspace glitch. I did see the FB post, which is what made me realize I didn't have it in my email. I appreciate you checking and giving me the info. Fingers crossed it comes through next week.

I updated my settings when prompted a couple of weeks ago so I would continue to receive the newsletter. I received it last week, but not today. I saw a link to the newsletter posted on Facebook, so I'm assuming it was sent. Is this a glitch or am I jumping the gun and it hasn't been sent yet?
